So two weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant and I haven't told Shawn yet. I don't know how because I don't want this to ruin his career.  We were having a date tonight so I decided I needed to tell him then.

I'm really nervous aswell because so don't know how he is going to react.

I made dinner so that it was ready for when Shawn got home. He walked in and he's in a happy mood.

"Hey Layla."

"Hey Shawn." He grabs my hand and leads me into the living room and we sit down next to eachother.

"So Layla when we're you going to tell me that you were pregnant."

"Who told you?"

"Camila."

"Oh." I stand up.

"Ok I found out two weeks ago. I'm sorry I didn't tell you I just wanted to find the right time to tell you and make it special and I also had doubts because so thought that this was going to ruin your career and yeah I was sceptical and i-"

"Ok Layla calm down I'm not mad."

"Your not."

"No. I could never be mad at you. And this." He says pointing to my belly.

"This would never ruin my career I have wanted this to happen with you. In going to be a dad Layla and I've never been so excited I want this I'm ready for a little Mendes running around. This is going to be so perfect ok?"

"Ok I'm still sorry I didn't tell you. I love you so much."

"I love you to now let's go eat shall we?"

"Yes."

We eat and then we cuddle and Shawn starts rubbing my belly. He gets up and kneels down and kisses my belly. He start singing to it and saying how he is his daddy and it was so cute. I've never seen him so happy.

We go to bed and fall asleep happily. We were about to start our little family. Life was perfect.
