Today we have my parents coming over for a meal. My mum Elaine and my dad David both adore Shawn which I am glad they do because that puts Shawn at ease now any time they come round knowing that they like him.
I am preparing dinner for us all. It's going to be a lovely meal for us all or at least that is what I am aiming for.
In the mean time of the vegetables boiling I feed the cats and the dogs. Yes and before you ask we have specialised dogs because Shawn is allergic we have 2 hypoallergenic dogs called molly and Maggie. Our cats are called Hastings and kitty.
I go to stir the vegetables when I feel hands wrap around my waist.

He gently places a soft kiss on the crook of my neck.
"Hey baby girl." He mumbles against my neck.
"Hey shawnie baby."
"Can I help you at all to cook Emmy baby?"
"No Shawn you know I like to surprise you with what I cook and again it's a surprise. You know what my mum taught me." I say pouting.
"Yeah but Emmy I want to help." He says grabbing the wooden spoon out of my hand.
"Shawn!" I say pouting.
"Ok fine." He says giving me back the wooden spoon and giving me a quick peck on the lips.
"Thank you Shawn you know I got taught and brought up to surprise my partner and you so happen to be him and I'm lucky I have such a gorgeous husband."
"I know I just wish I could help you from time to time." He says being the one pouting this time.
"I know Shawn but I like to surprise you. Plus this way when I'm cooking I get to see what my sexy husband is doing without him realising I am admiring him." I say cheekily.
He grabs me by the waist.
"Oh really Emmy is that another reason why you do this?"
"It might be." I say smiling at him.
"Well then I don't mind at all Emmy baby." He says leaning down to kiss me.
After the kiss I go back to cooking and in the middle of cooking the doorbell rings so Shawn goes and answers the door to my parents. He let them in and they all came into the kitchen.
"Hey mum and dad."
"Hi sweetie." they both say.
My mum walks up to me.
"Can i help at all love?" She asks.
"Yes please can you chop the last of the veg and put it into the pan for me please?"
"Of course love."
"But Emmy you won't let me help you but you will let your mum."
"Shawn you already know why."
"I know but I do want to help some time."
"I know shawnie baby." I say kissing him.
After that I start putting because he pulled away too soon. He caresses my cheek and then walks into the living room and my mum walks into the same room to talk to Shawn.
Little did I know that my mum was telling Shawn about how I am afraid to lose home to someone else even though I am his wife.
I walk into the room while the food is finishing up some cooking and Shawn grabs my waist and pulls me onto his lap and my mum leaves. He kisses my neck and says I love you and I say it back.
"Emmy?"
"Yeah?"
"You know I'm not going anywhere right. You have me for life. I love you so there is no reason for why you should feel like you are going to lose me. Why do you think I put that ring on your finger? I did that because I love you and only you. I put that ring on your finger because I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you baby girl ok only you."
"I'm sorry I didn't say anything Shawn. I love you too."
"It's fine Emmy but just let me know next time."
"I will I promise."
I turn my whole body around on his lap so that I'm facing him properly and then I kiss him passionately.
Not long later food is ready and we all have a lovely meal. We have good chats and throughout those chats Shawn would not let me leave his lap and then my mum and dad have to go. Me and Shawn then get into our pyjamas and have a tv marathon cuddled up together. I get hungry and I tell Shawn but he says no kisses first.
He kisses me but it then turns a full on make out session. His hands are roaming all over my body and his lipseave my lips to my neck. We carry this on for a few more minutes and his shirt comes off. We pull away breathlessly and he pulls me off him onto the couch while he goes into the kitchen. He comes back with my favourite snack and we cuddle up again with Shawn leaving a few soft kisses on my neck every now and then.
I put down my food and Shawn instantly connects our lips again and his hand travels down to my thigh holding on so I won't escape him. I pull back and boop him on the nose and escape and run away he runs after me. I hide under our duvet but he finds me because I'm giggling. He starts tickling me making me laugh more he stops and then kisses me one more time and then lies down next to me pulling me into his bare chest. He kisses my head and then says goodnight baby girl. I say goodnight and then I fall asleep in his strong arms.
