Today is Valentine's day and this is the first time me and Shawn are celebrating it seen as we got together around October.
I'm excited as this is our first one and Shawn said he has something special planned for us and I can't wait to find out what it is.
All I know is that he told me to dress comfortable and warm.
I got him a new ring to wear and I'm also going to give him one of my scrunchies so he can wear it when we are not together. I also got him a personalised guitar pick with our names on and the date he asked me out. It's not much but I do hope he likes it. We both agreed not to get eachother much because 1. Because it's about being with your loved one and 2. Because we don't care about presents as long as we are together.
I hear the door and I got open it.
"Hey Shawn."
"Hey Y/N happy Valentine's day gorgeous." He says handing a bouquet of roses out towards me.
I take the bouquet.
"Happy Valentine's day handsome."
He leans down and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. I walk into the kitchen and put the flowers into a vase and walk back to the door.
Shawn holds his hand out.
"Shall we?" He asks.
"We shall."
He opens the car door for me being the chivalrous man he is. And closes the door for me then runs over to his said quickly. He buckles up then starts driving. Through the journey He grabs my hand so that we are holding hands.
Not long later the journey is over and he opens the door for me. He them blindfolds me.
"Is this really necessary?"
"Of course it is Y/N I don't want you to see where we are or where we are going."
"Ok but please make sure i don't bump into anything."
"Why would I do that to you?"
"I don't know I just don't like not being able to see."
"Princess nothing will happen to you ok. Do you trust me?"
"Of course I do."
"Then let's go."
He starts leading to me and I'm about to fall coz my ankle moves to the side and I miss a step.
"Woah there I got you ok like I said I'm not going to let anything happen to you."
"Thank you Shawn."
"No problem love."
He carries on leading me until he stops making stop also abruptly.
"Close your eyes I'm going to take the blindfold off. Don't open your eyes till I tell you tell."
"Ok."
He carefully takes the blindfold off and says to open my eyes my he wraps his arms around my waist.
I open them and gasp in awe at what he has done for me.

"Oh my god Shawn this is amazing. Thank you so much."
"No problem Y/N You deserve the best."
I turn around and go onto my tiptoes and kiss him.
He pulls away and then leads me towards the set up. We sit down and each drink a glass of champagne and eat some muffins.
We have fun, we talk, exchange gifts and cuddle and just enjoy eachothers presence. I also debate whether to say three simple words to him because we haven't exchanged it yet but I know that's how I feel.
I decide to say it.
"Shawn?"
"Yes hunny?"
"I just want to say thank you for the gifts and for this it's all amazing and I just want to say that I love you."
"Its nothing princess and I love you too."
With that he moves closer to me and closes the gap between us and kisses me passionately.
We both pull away and I turn round and lean into Shawn.
He kisses the top of my head.
Not long later we go home.
He opens the door for me once again.
"Thank you for tonight Shawn it was amazing. I love you."
"I love you too."
We then kiss again.
I pull away and start walking to my door and open it once closed I mean against the door full of happiness. I walk up to my room and go into the bathroom and sort my hair out and get rid of the little make up I was wearing. I get into my pyjamas.
Just as I'm about to head into bed there's a knock at my window.
I look over and see Shawn so I open it and let him in.
"What are you doing here?"
"I love you too much to let you go tonight."
"I love you too now come on let's go to sleep."
We crawl into my bed and snuggle up to eachother. We fall asleep straight away. Having Shawn's arms around me made me feel protected and I loved that feeling. I loved this. I can't wait to spend more Valentine's days together.
