36. meet and greet

Today is the day I get to see my idol. I'm so excited to see Shawn Mendes at his concert this year. I went last year but I know that this year is going to be better because I have meet and greet tickets and q&a tickets too so I'm a happy girl.

He has helped me so much and I just lovehim so much. I am nervous to meet him but in also excited. He's like so handsome and I'm a potato but hopefully we get a good photo.

Honestly I'm so ready for this concert. I'm in the line for the meet and greet right now and honestly so excited and I'm waiting to my a friend I made because of Shawn. He has help me make a friend and I love him for it.

She gets here and we start talking and laughing and just having fun when Jake Shawn's bodyguard comes in.

"Shawn is ready for the meet and great so you can start going in now to meet him."

All the girls start to squeal and cheer. I'm the last one to go meet him I'm at the end of the queue but I don't mind I still get to see him so that's all that matters.

About half an hour later it's finally my turn to meet him.

I walk through and I see him. He's way more handsome in person.

"Hey hun."

"Hi Shawn."

"What's your name hunny?"

"It's Y/N."

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

That makes me blush.

"How are you Shawn?"

He looks taken back by my question.

"I'm loving life and a little bit tried. Sorry it's not the best answer I rarely get asked that question off fans they just want to meet me have a picture and then go see the show."

"No it's fine the answer you gave was great but yeah I can see that you are tired."

He chuckles a little.

"So what pose do you want to do?"

"I don't know I haven't honestly thought about it."

"Ok well we could do a pose where we are hugging eachother?"

"Yeah sure."

The photographer takes the photo.

We have a proper hug and then I get told i have to leave by Jake.

"See you at the q&a Shawn."

"See you there Y/N."

Shawn P.O.V

This beautiful girl walks in and I ask for her name and her name is so beautiful and stunning just like her. She asks me how I am and honestly it takes me a lot by surprise but I give her an honest answer. It's time to pose for a picture and she hasn't got a lose ready yet so I suggest one and she likes my idea so we do it. As I hug her, just her touch sends shivers down my spine. I don't know what I feeling. She's beautiful and by asking how I am I feel like she is a caring person.

I think I like her. Actually I know I like her. This is weird for me. I have never liked a girl I have just met this is a new sensation but I'm not against it. I want to get to know her but I need a plan how I just don't know what that plan is yet.

She said she would see me at the q&a and that made me happy knowing she would be there and that I get to see her again. My plan is to point her out to jake and at the end of the q&a he gets her and takes her to meet up with me. I am ready to get to know her.

Your P.O.V

Me and my friend go get a seat for the q&a and we are right near the front so we can actually see him because I'm quite a small person for a 19 year old.

He walks through the door and the screaming starts. I just sit there hoping they will calm down soon.

He goes through how he wants the q&a to be done and starts picking people to ask questions.

A lot of questions later he picks my friend had she asks...

"Hi Shawn I really love you and your music and my question is have you experienced love at first sight if so when?"

He looks at me.

"Aww hunny I love you too and thank you. I have experienced love at first sight or at least I think I have today."

Everyone awes.

I don't all the way through his answer he was looking at me and that made my heart skip a beat.

A few more questions later and the q&a is finished but before I can leave Shawn's bodyguard comes up to me.

"Excuse me miss? Mr Mendes has requested to meet with you. Please follow me."

I am confused but excited. I tell my friend I will see her later.

We get into a hallway where jake knocks on the door of Shawn's dressing room.

Shawn opens and says thank you to jake and then I walk through the door and we both sit down.

It's silence until Shawn breaks it.

"Hi."

"Hi."

"I bet you are wondering why you are here?"

"Yeah kind of."

"Ok well when I met you at the meet and greet you seemed different to all the other fans I met. I wanted to get to know you better because I like you so I got jake to bring you here."

"Oh ok that makes sense but why do you want to get to know me?"

"You seem different but a good kind of different."

"Oh ok well then ok I want to get to know you aswell the real you off of stage."

"Glad we are on the same page. I ahve to get ready but after the show can I take you out?"

"Sure."

"Ok well stay in the arena and I'll come and get you at the end of the show."

"Ok good luck."

"Thanks hun."

I left and it all felt surreal. We went out after the concert and had a great time little did I know that years from now me and him would be married and have a child. I met the love of my life, my soul mate and the meet and greet of his concert. I have lived a dream. It's been amazing.

Shanw has been the best husband ever and now we have the best son ever together. I love how things turn out. Who knew on the day of the meet and greet I would find love and so would he?
