27. i don't like her

Today was the day I am going to meet a few more of the Mendes family. Shawnu wanted me to meet his aunt, uncle grandma and grandad. I have already met his parents and sister and they like me so Shawn says and I really like them too.

I am very nervous because I don't know if they will like me. I put on a nice black dress and curl my hair.

"Hey hun are you read..... wow you look amazing."

"Thank you Mendes not so bad yourself."

He grabs me by the waist and gives me a kiss.

"So Y/N how are you feeling about this?"

"I'm a bit nervous."

"You will do great and I'm sure they will love you if not then I don't care because I love you ok?"

"Ok."

Then I grab his shirt to pull him down for a kiss.

"I suppose we should get going hun."

"Ok Shawn."

30 minute drive later......

"Hunny we are here."

"Ok Shawn lets so this."

He opens the car door for me and I say thank you. He grabs my hand and we walk up to the front door. Shawn knocks and his mum answers.

"Hello Shawn. Hello Y/N please come in."

We walk in and I see all the people I haven't met before assuming they are the rest of Shawn's family.

He says his greetings to everyone while I stay and talk with Karen. Shawn comes over and grabs my hand.

"Ready to meet other members of my family?"

"I guess so."

"Hi aunt Carole."

"There is my lovely nephew. How have you been?"

"I've been good."

"Who is this?" She says looking me up and down.

"This is my girlfriend Y/N."

"It's lovely to meet you." I say.

"Yes ok anyways Shawn I am proud of you and how far you have gotten."

"Thank you."

"Shawn I'm going to talk to your mum."
I whisper in his ear.

"Ok hun."

I talk to Karen until food is ready.

Shawn starts to talk first.

"So do we all like my girlfriend?"

The majority say yes apart from Shawn's aunt.

"No Shawn I don't like her."

"Why?"

"First off she is not that pretty. Second she's wearing a really tight black dress that makes her look like a complete slut. She's trying to impress us by wearing that and it is not working at all. Third of all she's probably just using you. Overall I don't like her she's not for you and she's just seems like a horrible whoreish person who doesn't deserve to be with a guy like you."

I didn't know what to say all I said was excuse me then ran out the room into the bathroom locking myself in. Shawn, his parents and his sister are the only one that knows that I am really insecure. His aunt was right though I don't deserve Shawn. I'm not pretty and not good enough for Shawn.

By the short amount of time I have been in the bathroom my cheeks are fully tear stained.

"Y/N hun are you ok?"

"No I'm not your aunt is right I'm not good enough for you Shawn. I'm ugly and worthless and don't deserve to be with you. You could get any girl that is prettier than me why did you choose me?"

"Hun please open the door."

I open it and sit back down on the floor.

"Don't listen to my aunt ok? You are the most beautiful girl I have met. You do deserve me and you are one of the sweetest people I have met and I don't care what my aunt says because I love you and she can't say anything. If she doesn't like you I don't care because I love you and that's all that matters."

"Y...y..You love me?"

"Yeah I do."

"I love you too Shawn."

He leans down and kisses me.

"Ok let's get you cleaned up and go down stairs and don't listen to her because all that matters is our love for one another. Plus my parents love you and your parents love me so there the only family that really matter for impressions ok? I love you and that's all that matters."

I nod and he kisses me. He helps me wipe the tears off of my face. Then we go back down stairs hand in hand. We both sit back down at the dinner table.

His aunt starts to speak again.

"Y/N I'm so sorry for what I said that was very out of order I'm very sorry."

"It's fine."

Shawn then speaks up.

"No it's not fine. You hurt the girl that I love and honestly the fact you hurt her hurt me. I'm in love with and she is in love with me and that's all that matters. My parents love her and even if you don't like her can you please tolerate her because if you like it or not I'm not going to break up with the best thing that has ever happened to me because you don't like or because of your opinion."

That made me smile a lot. He leans down and kisses me. His aunt looks shocked and disgusted where as his parents and sister look happy and are laughing because he has just made his aunt speechless. His dad whispers something to Shawn which I can just about make out yo him saying go Shawn
"Well done son. I'm so glad you have found the girl you truly love and I know this because You stuck up for her. I'm proud of you son."

After that whole commotion. His aunt decides to leave.

"Y/N wanna stay the night with me?" Shawn asks.

"Yeah."

We both leave and go to Shawn's condo.

We get there and we both get into pyjamas meaning I just put on one of Shawn's t-shirts. We sit on the couch.

"Hey Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for tonight. I mean sticking up for me."

"Hun it's no problem I would do anything for you and I wasn't going to let my aunt slide for hurting my princess now am I?"
He says while tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Again though Shawn I am so thankful. Can I show you just how thankful I am?"

He smirks at me now.

"What have you got in mind?"

"I think you know."

I start to kiss him and climb onto his lap. He starts to kiss down my neck finding my sweet pot making me moan slightly.
He then picks me up making me laugh. He throws me on to the bed and we start making out again. Then next thing leads to the other and you know what happens next.

We both showed just how thankful and how much we love eachother that night.
It was a night me and him weren't going to forget for a while.
