164. internet friends to something more

So I met this interesting guy online called shawn Mendes. I know what you are thinking that cbat very true because hes famous but I genuinely think I am talking to him. The messages were really nice. He reached out first after I somehow popped up on his timeline. He said I looked nice and from there we carried on talking. The more we talked the more we grew closer and we both enjoyed talking. He would try and take to me every day. We would facetime alot too whenever he got the chance. The only problem was we had never met in person before and that's something I want to do.

He was in my home town for a show and I was hoping we would be able to meet. I've wanted to for a while but hes never near me or just not close enough for me to go and see him. I

Shawn: hey I'm in (your hometown) for a show and I was wondering of you wanted to meet before my show and then I can take you to the show, you can watch me perform and then we can do something afterwards but only if you want to though xx

Y/N: I like that idea, where you thinking of meeting? Xx

Shawn: well you know the area best so you choose and I'll meet you there xx

Y/N: well I'll send you the address to a cute and cosy cafe and I'll meet you there at 12 xx

Shawn: sounds good xx

I get ready and put something cute on because I want to impress him. Mainly because he has never met me in person so I want to make a good impression.

I set off to go and meet him and as I near the cafe I start to get nervous but excited because I'm finally meeting my friend I've been talking to for years.

I get there and walk inside and I look around and I see him sat on his own running his hands through his hair. He looks as nervous as I feel. I look over at him and realise how more handsome he is in person.

I walk over and say hi he stands up and says hi and then we both just hug each other.

We both sit down across from each other and talk for a while and it was really fun. It gets time for us to leave to get to the arena shawn is playing at.

While walking mine and Shawn's hands brush against each other. Shawn then grabbed my hand and held it. We walked down the streets holding hands.

We get there and he takes me to his dressing room where he said me and him could hang out for a bit before he had to go.

"So Y/N before I cant say anything I want to tell you something."

"Ok shawn you can tell me anything so go ahead."

"Ok well ever since we have been talking and getting to know each other and now actually physically seeing you makes me realise that I like you a lot and I want to be with you."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I really do like you and I really hope that if you don't like me back then I hope we can...."

I cut him off by kissing him. It takes him a few moments to kiss back but when he does it's like our lips were made for each other. I pull away and look at him.

He pulls me close into his chest tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"I like you a lot too."

He smiles and kisses me again.

"So will you Y/N please be my girlfriend?"

"Of course I will."

He kisses me again and then we sit down and just chat while cuddling. His manager comes in and sees us and smiles.

"Finally, shawn has nonstop been talking about you and how he wanted you to be his and I'm guessing it finally happened now."

Shawn nods with flushed cheeks. I kiss him on the cheek.

"Shawn you are on in five minutes."

Shawn nods and then his manager leaves.

Shawn looks at me and places his hand on my cheek.

"You are so beautiful, how did I get so lucky to find you."

"I ask myself the same question."

He kisses me and then we head towards the stage.

As I watch him perform I wonder how lucky I get that we found each other on the internet.

During singing he stops to make a speech. This was during fallin all in you.

"So guys I have been talking to this girl for a long time now and I've only just met her in person today. She is everything I dreamed of and more. She is incredible and beautiful to hell with that completely gorgeous. After ages of liking her I finally plucked up the courage to ask her out and luckily she said yes. I'm dating the most wonderful girl in the world and I just wanted you all to know. Y/N I love you so much this song is for you." After he says that he blows a kiss my way.

I stare in awe at him and realise how thankful I am for social media and the internet because without it I wouldn't have met the man I married years later.
