So me and my boyfriend shawn have just recently made a public debut as a couple. We were together for a few months before we went public because we know what fans and paparazzi are like and he wanted to make sure I was comfortable with what was going to happen if we went public plus we both wanted to see how serious our relationship was before we told the world.

I was on tour with him right now and we just pulled up to our hotel. We notice that the paparazzi and fans are there and shawn can tell that I'm kind of scared by this.

He takes my hand in his and squeezes it.

"It will be ok Y/N I promise you. I'll be right next to you and I won't let go of your hand i promise."

"Ok."

We get out of the car and all I can see is flashes in my face. Shawn pulls me into him and tries to cover me and hide me away from all of the paparazzi. One of them pulls my arm and tries to take me away from shawn to get a picture of me but shawn pulls me closer into his chest.

"Guys will you please step back we would just like to get into the hotel and be left alone if you don't mind."

The paparazzi start crowding round us and fans start screaming. I start breathing really heavy and start having a panic attack. My breathing is uneven and I feel like people are closing in on me even more and I start to feel faint. Tears start rolling down my cheeks. Shawn notices and pulls me even further into him. He pushes through the crowd of people to get me into the hotel.

We finally manage to get into the hotel. We go into a corner of the entrance and we sit down on the floor. I lean against the wall and Shawn kneels in front of me.

"Hey baby girl. You're ok now we are safe. Calm down listen to my voice and breathe in and out slowly. You are doing so good Y/N I'm right here."

I calm my breathing down and look at shawn. He smiles at me and wipes the tears falling down my cheeks. He kisses my head and moves towards my side. He pulls me into him and hugs me.

"I'm so sorry about what happened Y/N I didnt know this was going to happen. I'm so so sorry."

"Its ok shawn you didn't know that was going to happen and I'm ok now. Can we just go upto the room and cuddle?"

"Of course we can anything for my princess."

He gets off the floor and stands up holding his hand out to me helping me up off the ground.

We hold hands all the way to our door and he holds the door open for me. We both get into some comfy clothes and cuddle up in bed.

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you too."

"Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for protecting me today and calming me down."

"Of course I'll always protect you that's my job. I wasnt going to let you deal with that no way I'm going to protect you for as long as I'm with you and that's a promise."

"Thank you shawn that means alot to me you are the best boyfriend ever I love you." I say kissing him.

"I love you too now lets get some sleep."

"Night shawn."

"Night baby."

We fell asleep in each other's arms. I was being protected by the boy that I loved.
