Amelia's P.O.V

*knock knock*

I wake up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I get up and open the door to see Shawn and when I see it was him I start freaking out internally because I have just woken up and look awful.

"Hey shawn what are you doing here?"

"Hi. Well you remember when I asked you on a date well I'm taking you on a date today."

"What? Now? At 10 in the morning?"

"Well, I wanted to do something special so I have planned different things all day today for our first date."

"Shawn that's really sweet. Let me get ready please come inside."

He walks through the door and I rush upstairs to get dressed. It doesn't take me long to find a nice outfit. I straighten my hair quickly, put my shoes on and grab a bag then head downstairs.

I walk into my living room to see him sat there on his phone. I sit down next to him and he looks up from his phone and looks at me. He puts his phone away and stands up in front of me and holds his hand out towards me.

"Ready to go m'lady?" He says in the worst British accent ever possible.

"I am." I say chuckling. We leave my house and we get into his jeep.

"So what's on your plan first then Mendes?"

"Well Amelia I have a little breakfast picnic planned up in a little spot only I know about."

"Sounds great and quite romantic."

"Well what can I say, I try." He says making me laugh.

He parks up and tells me we have to walk a little bit before we get to where the picnic is.

He opens my door and helps me out of the jeep. We talk about family while walking and shawn intertwines our hands together. When we grow closer he covers my eyes and directs me because he doesn't want me to see.

"Shawn please dont let me walk into anything and I mean it."

"I wont i promise you that."

We take a few more steps and he takes his hands off from my eyes and I get to see what he has done.

I look and I'm instantly in awe. I look up and smile at shawn.

"Oh my God shawn this is amazing and so beautiful I love it."

"I'm glad." He wraps his arms around my waist and we walk towards the blanket. We sit down but I sit in between his legs and lean into his chest.

We talk and eat some food that he prepared and made all by himself. Shawn brought some strawberries and melted chocolate. He dips the strawberry in the chocolate and feeds me it making me laugh.

After we have finished food shawn says we have to get going because we have more things to do. I ask him where we are going and he just says it's a surprise.

When he parks up I realise we are at an ice skating rink.

"Shawn you know i cant skate."

He smiles at me. "Well I thought I would teach you. Come on please."

"Fine but only because you took time planning this and you brought us here so."

"Come one then."

He drags me inside and we put our skates on. He holds me tightly as we get onto the ice because I'm slipping and sliding everywhere.

"Shawn dont let go of me please."

"I wont."

We skate longer and shawn shows me the technique and I think I have the hang of it so I start skating off with out shawn but he catches up and goes in front of me. I lose my balance and I start to fall. I fall onto shawn and we both fall onto the ice. I landed ontop of him.

"Hi." He says to me putting a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Hi."

We get up and Shawn says there is one more thing to do before the date is over. He takes us to this closed reserved place with a little board walk and a big lake.

He takes me to the end of the board walk and we take off shoes, sit down and sip our feet into the lake. I rest my head on his shoulder and he rests his head ontop of mine.

"How about a swim?"

"What?!"

He gets up and takes his shirt off and unbuttoned his pants an unzip and pulls his Jean's off of his. He is now just standing there in his underwear.

He then jumps in. When he comes back up to the surface he splashes me.

"Are you insane?"

"Come on Amelia the water is great. You can put my tshirt on over your underwear."

I give him a look of are you kidding me?

I get up and start to undress but realise hes watching so I stop.

"A little privacy please." I say laughing.

"Oh right yeah." He turns around and I start undressing. I put his shirt on and say it's ok to look.

"Wow that looks better on you than it does on me." He says making me blush.

I jump in next to him and splash him.

I resurface and we both look at each other and it's just dead peaceful. I splash him and start to swim away coz he tries to go after me.

He catches me and makes me face him. When I do our faces our really close together and our eyes meet.

The next thing I knew he was leaning in and so was I. Our lips met and moved against each other. He pulled away and caresses my cheek.

"I really like you Amelia, I like you a lot."

"I like you too shawn."

He gives me a quick kiss and looks at me again.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes I will."

He kisses me one more time and we swim back to the boardwalk. Shawn helps me up and we walk back to his car after getting dressed. We talk on the way back and he holds my hand the whole way home.

We get to my house and I'm kind of sad because I didn't want today to end.

"Thank you shawn for today I had a really great time."

"No problem Amelia I enjoyed spending the day with my girlfriend. God I love saying that."

I laugh.

"Well goodnight boyfriend."

"Ooh and I love hearing that." He says leaning over to my side of the car and kisses me.

"Goodnight shawn."

"Goodnight Amelia."

I walk to my door and unlock it. I get inside and sit on the sofa.

Today was the best date ever.
