Shawn was my best friend and we were inseparable and we have been friends for as long as I can remember but he decided to join the at my and do his bit for our country/nation which I am proud of because he wants to do something to help our nation. He's been away for two about two years now but a couple of months ago his mum received a telegram saying he was missing in action. That day I cried so hard. I thought this meant I would never see him again and I wouldn't be able to tell him that I love him more than my friend.

I woke and did the usual day thibgs I would do I did a small shift at the diner I work at then came home. I saw Karen on the porch outside her house she was crying but it looked like happy tears.

I go over to see what is going on. "Hey Karen are you alright?"

"Oh I have never been better hun."

"So what's going on?"

Then I see a figure step out of the door. I see a handsome man and it's not just any man it's Shawn.

"Well I think seeing me will reveal all." He chuckles slightly.

I'm shocked I didn't think I was going to see him again. I run up to him and he catches me in his arms I wrap my arms around his neck and he picks me up and spins me around.

"Well hello to you to Y/N." Years are rolling down both of our cheeks. I still haven't let go of him yet. I go to say something but it comes out muffled because I'm crying and hiding my face in Shawn's chest.

"I'm so glad you are back I didn't think I was going to see you again I missed you so much."

"God Y/N you don't know how much I missed you either god I was so scared I wasn't going to see you again bit I'm here and that's what matters and I'm not going back I'm not leaving you again ok? I promise."

"Ok Shawn I'm so glad you are back."

"Me too we have a lot to catch up on."

We go up to his room and sit on his bed and talk to him about everything that has happened since he left so he is caught up.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Yeah."

"I'm going to say this now because being in the army and almost losing my life has taught me that life is too short and that I have to take a chance."

I'm so confused right now but I'll go along with it.

"Ok?"

"Being away from you for a while has given me time to think and it's made me realise I feel something for you. That I like you more than a friend and the thought of not being able to see you again killed me. You were what kept me going and stopped me from giving up. I really like you Y/N."

"Shawn I really like you too."

We are looking into each others eyes when we have said this to each other.
He leans in and he kisses me. I kiss him back straight away and wrap my arms around his neck pulling on the little curls at the back of his neck. His arms move around my waist and he pulls me onto his lap. The kiss is full of passion and this kiss is better than I imagined it to be. We both pull away and just look at eachother. Shawn then puts his head in the crook of my neck and starts planting soft kisses. His lips so soft against my skin tickled and made my breath hitch.
"Shawn stop that tickles." That only makes him kiss me there more until he finds my sweet spot and I moan which makes him suck on it knowing I will end up with a hickey. He stops and just looks at me but he keeps staring at me not saying anything but he is smiling. He does this for a couple of minutes.

"Shawn why do you keep looking at me like that?"

"You are just so beautiful."
That makes me blush.

"So Y/N will you be my girlfriend then?"

"Yes I will." Then I give him a peck.

I look at my phone to see the time and I see that it is getting time for me to go home.

"Shawn I have to go home."

"Y/N please stay."

"Shawn I have to go home."

"Call your mum and I'll tell her I'm back and she will let you stay."

"Fine you can try but if she says I have to go home I will and you will let me Ok?"

"Deal."

He calls my mum and she let's me stay and Karen and Manny are ok with me staying the night. Shawn gives me one of his t-shirts to sleep in. We watch teen wolf and because I told him it was my favourite show and when I told him my favourite character was Stiles and I was gushing over him he was getting jealous but it was cute. I kept telling him I only had eyes for him but then I went back to gushing over Stiles/ Dylan O'Brien. That made him tickle me until the point where I had to say I'm sorry Shawn you are way hotter than Stiles.

The rest of the night was us both talking and we both fell asleep peacefully.
