Chapter 18 Part 1

(Shawn's pov)

She wanted me to make it up to her so I will.

I texted the guys and told them my plan. I had them help out because I can't be in two places at once.

"Shawn were are we going?" She asked

"It's a surprise."

"I hate surprises."

"You'll like this surprise." I said and we got into the uber.

(Emily pov)

We pulled up to the boardwalk. We got out the car and we brought the tickets. We went on some of the rides and we played some games. Shawn won me a giant spongebob.

"Lets go on the Ferris wheel." Shawn suggested

"No."

"Why?" He asked

"I'm terrified of Ferris wheels."

"Seriously." Shawn says trying not to laugh.

"Yes, I'm afraid we're going to fall off or the wheel thingy might roll away while were on it."

"So your afraid of heights?" Shawn asked

"No just Ferris wheels and insects." I say and Shawn burst into laughter.

(I am honestly afraid of Ferris wheels for that reason. Don't judge me.)

"I promise I will protect you."

"Fine but I'm warning you last time I went on a Ferris wheel it didn't end to good."

"What happened?" Shawn said grabbing my hand.

"I've always been afraid of Ferris wheels, so Cam and our cousin decided it would be fun to go on the Ferris wheel. They begged me to go on a "roller coaster" with them so I agreed. We got to the front of the line and it was the Ferris wheel. Before I could say anything they put me in the cart. We started moving and I was fine for the first fifteen seconds. I started to freak out. I was screaming and crying. I really wanted to get off and they wouldn't let me. The ride manager took us around two more times. I didn't talk to Cam for three weeks because of that." I said

"It's gonna be okay. I promise." He said holding up his pinky. I wrapped my pinky around his and we got on the ride.

The ride started and I began to shake.

"Are you okay?" Shawn asked

"No." I said and buried my face in his neck.

I heard a picture being taken and I looked up for a bit to see Shawn taking a picture of us. I looked down and my breathing Increased. Tears were forming in my eyes. He wrapped his arms around me and I cried in his chest.

"I'm sorry." He said kissing my forehead.

He lifted my head up and wiped away the tears. He crashed his soft lips on mine. Making me forget about everything. I smiled into the kiss and so did he. I missed this the most about him.

"I miss you." He says breaking away from the kiss

"I miss you too." I say and he smiles.

We looked into each others eyes and leaned in for another kiss. This one was long and passionate. Being with Shawn made me forget about everything. The ride came to an end and we got off.

"See I told you everything was going to be okay." Shawn says smiling

"I'm still scared of those things. I'm never going back on one." I said and Shawn laughed

"But your so cute when your scared."

Shawn took spongebob and held my hand. We walked around the boardwalk and we played a few games.

I stood on my tippy toes and pecked Shawn on the lips.

"What was that for?" He said smiling

"For making me smile." I said and he pulled me into him.

(Shawn pov)

I thought Emily would still be mad at me but she wasn't.

I got a text from Nash.

Nash: we finished

Me: k, thnx for everything

Nash: np

"Hey Em, are you hungry?" I asked and she nodded her head.

I cant wait for her to see what I planned out.
