Chapter 17

(Emily pov)

We were at magcon doing what we normally do. We decided to do a Q&A.

Shawn choose a tall pretty brunette. The end of her hair was dyed blonde. She was wearing a Black crop top with the word 'Bae' on it. She was also wearing light washed skinny jeans and a red flannel was wrapped around her waist.

"Are you and Emily still dating?" She asked

He looked over at me and I looked away.

"No" He mumbled into the microphone.

"Why?" She asked

You can tell he didn't want to answer. He didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"Yeah Shawn why"

"Emily I told you I was sorry so many times. I love you so much and I didn't mean to hurt you." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay that's enough questions for today." Cameron said

"Actually I have a question." Matt said we all looked at him.

"Azu, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked and the crowd was silent.

"Yes" she said and pulled him in for a hug.

"Sorry I didn't ask you sooner, I wanted to find the right time but something always came up." He said to her quietly but the microphone picked it up.

Some of Matt's fans didn't look to happy but they pretended it wasn't bothering them. They enjoyed the rest of the event.

We went back to the hotel. I walked into the hotel room and Shawn was right behind me. Why did Bart even put us in the same room?

"Em, why can't you just look past all this?" He asked

"Shawn I really don't want to do this." I say and sit on my bed.

"Please, I just want to know."

"It's not easy for me to forgive people."

"You forgave Jack and Nash."

"I don't want to talk about this."

"Why can you forgive them and not me?" He asked

Why did I agree to this?

"I don't know, just leave me alone." I say and cover myself with the blanket.

"Please tell me."

"Because they're still trying to make it up to me, they are truly sorry. I don't know if I can trust you again." I say and I hear him sigh.

I wasn't looking at him.

"What if I make it up to you."

"You don't have to do anything." I say

"Yeah I do. Come on." He says

"I just want to sleep."

He pulls the blanket off if me and picks me up.

"What are you doing?" I ask

"I'm gonna make it up to you."

"Can I at least get my shoes and my phone"

"You don't need them." He said and carried me down the stairs

I saw fans glaring at me and some were even taking pictures.

(Azucena's pov)

"Azu, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked

"Yes." I say and pull him in for a hug

~After Magcon~

"Azu. I really don't want you dating Matt." My brother said from behind me.

"What?" I asked

"I don't want you dating Matt."

"No I heard you. Why don't you want me dating Matt?" I asked

"I just don't."

"Taylor you cant tell me who to date." I yell

"I don't want you getting hurt." He says

"And I don't want you in my business, we all cant get what we want."

"He's my best friend."

"And he's my boyfriend. What does that have to do with anything."

"Whatever, go do what you want."

"I was anyways." I say and walk away

Sometimes Taylor can be a little over protective and it gets annoying at times.

"Is everything okay?" Matt asked and kissed me on the cheek

"Yeah everything is fine."

We got back to the hotel and we watched netflix. I'm glad Matt finally asked me out. We were unofficial for about a month. He would kiss me and we would cuddle all the time. We even went on a few dates.
