Chapter 44

(Emily pov)

"Let's go to the beach." Shawn says

"I don't have my bathing suit."

"I already thought this out." He says and he pulls out my white and purple bikini with fringes.

I take it from his hands and kiss his cheek.

"Thanks." I say and walk into the bathroom on the beach. I carefully strip out of my clothes and put on my bathing suit without touching the ground.

I walk out the bathroom and look for shawn. I see him already standing outside waiting for me.

I put my clothes in the beach bag and we put our stuff down on the sand.

Shawn picks me up bridal style and runs down to the water.

"Shawn it's cold" I squeal

He throws me into the water.

"Shawn" I yell and he laughs.

I stand up and wrap my arms around his neck.

I move closer to him and just as he was about to kiss me I moved away.

"Your such a tease." He says and I laugh.

"Maybe I would of kissed you if you didn't throw me in the water."

He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him.

"I love you" he whispers in my ear then a wave knocks us over.

I fell on top of him and we laugh.

We stand up and he kisses my lips.

"I love you too." I say and we both smile.

We decided to leave the water and go grab something to eat. I dry off and change into my regular clothes. Me and Shawn walked into a small diner and we were instantly seated.

I ordered a burger and some fries with a coke. Shawn ordered the chicken strips and french fries with Aloe water.

We talked about the most random things.

"So what do you want to do?" Shawn asks

"I don't know. Do you want to go back to the house?"

"No." He says right away. "How about we go to the boardwalk?" He asks

"Um... Okay." I say.

Shawn grabs my hand and we walk to the boardwalk hand and hand.

We play a few games and we go on some of the rides. It was soon sun set and Shawn decided to take a walk on the beach.

I rested my head on his shoulder as we walked along the shore.

Shawn stopped walking, he turned around and looked me in the eyes.

His 6 foot 1 body towered over me. I looked up at him while he looked down at me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I snaked my arms around his neck. He placed his soft lips on mine. His hands moved down towards my butt. He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. The kiss got more intense. It was rough but passionate at the same time. He licked my bottom lip begging for entrance and I gladly accepted. He tongue explored my mouth. We both broke from the kiss and rested our foreheads against each others.

"I love you" Shawn said out of breath

"I love you too" I said and got off of Shawn.

He grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers.

"I think we should go back to your house now." Shawn says and I agree.

We grab our stuff and walk back to the house since it wasn't that far.
