Chapter 18 Part 2

(Emily pov)

"Shawn were are we going?" I finally asked. We've been walking for a while.

"I have something planned. Don't worry we're almost there." He said

We walked a little more and we ended up at a part of the beach where nobody was.

There was a table with a cloth on it. There were candles around the table. It was truly beautiful. On the table there were two silver dishes.

"You did this?" I asked in shock.

"With the help of the guys." 

We walked over to the table and he pulled out the chair for me. I sat down and he pushed the chair in. I thanked him and he went to his seat. He pulled the lids off of the metal dishes. On the dishes were Fettuccine Alfedo. It was one of my favorite italian dishes. We ate our food and we made small talk. The sun was setting so we sat down at the shore admiring the beautiful view.

"Can you sing to me?" I asked him.

"Sure, what song?"

"Surprise me." I said and a smile grew on his face.

He went up towards the table and grabbed his guitar.

"I'll play as long as you sing with me." I nodded and he began to strum his guitar.

I knew exactly what song it was. It was Sad Song by We The Kings.

Shawn-

I love it when Shawn sings.

"Your voice is amazing." He says

"Yours is much better."

"We should make a song together." He says

"I'm not that good."

"Please." He begged

"I don't know."

"Please."

"Fine." I said and he pulled me into a tight embrace

"I have something important to ask you." Shawn says and I nod telling him to continue. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked

"Yes." I say and he leans in for a kiss. He smashed his soft lips onto mine. The kiss got heated. I pulled away not wanting it to go any further.

"I love you." I say with a smile on my face

"I love you more."

"That's impossible." I say

"No it's not."

"Yeah it is."

"Do you really want to fight?" He says playfully

"Bring it." I say and he climbs on top of me.

He begins to tickle me and I begin to laugh. I am a very ticklish person.

"Shawn... Stop..." I said in between fits of laughter

"Surrender."

"Never!" I yell and he continues to tickle me

"OKAY, OKAY, I SURRENDER!" I yell and he stops tickling me.

He leans down and pecks my lips.

"Who wouldn't love you?" He says and kisses my lips one last time

"A lot of people."

"Well those people are stupid." He said.

He got off of me and helped me up. He grabbed his guitar and we walked back to the hotel, which wasn't very far. Apparently Cam and Nash were gonna go clean up our mess.

We got back to the hotel room and took a shower. I changed into a pair of yoga pants and a sports bra. I got in the bed and Shawn climbed in the bed next to me. We watched some TV and just as I was another to fall asleep Shawn said something.

"I love you to the stars and back never forget that."

"The stars?"

"Yeah, the stars go on forever. Just like my love for you."

"Aww babe. I love you too, more than you will ever know." I said kissing his lips.

"Good-night babe." He says and wraps his strong arms around my body.

"Good-night" I said

I placed my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. I feel asleep to the sound of his heart.
