"That's quite a big dosage, and you said she was still upset?"

"Very."

"That's impossible. With that much, she should have been completely numbed out. Anger shouldn't even be within a mile's radius of her. Whatever it was, it was resentment I had never seen anything like before."

Silence. No answer.

"I can tell that there was more taken only about an hour before that as well. Must've had a terrible day. I'm suggesting rehab for her right after she regains her consciousness. To be honest, her blacking out was the best thing that could have happened to her. I'm glad you provoked her enough for her to get her anger out. Otherwise she might have had some kind of heart failure. Or stroke. Her blood pressure was sky-high." Pause. "You seem to know a bit about this yourself..."

Silence. No answer.

The doctor resumed. "I'm suggesting she stops using the medication immediately after she's revived. It would be nearly impossible for her. Not unless..."

"What?"

"Well there's a special room inside a mental hospital nearby. It's made specifically for people like her. No matter what they do they won't be able to hurt themselves in there."

"No. Medication is helping her. It will just have to be supervised."

"Are you her family?"

Pause.

"Yes."

"Then I'll go get something for her to take right now before she wakes up."

MOVIE >scene199> - A Dorm. A Delinquent. A Girl.

When Fayth regained consciousness, she opened her eyes to a large white room. Groggy, she straightened up. Since she was wired up to machines on either side of her, her movement was immediately restricted.

She squinted her eyes at the strong sunlight coming from a large window on the right-side wall of the room, and wished someone could close the blinds.

As if her mind was being read, someone pulled the strings on the blinds and instantly the room became more bearable on her eyes.

"Vincent!" Happiness seized her entirely.

Vincent chuckled and sat on the edge of the bed, then leaning in, he cupped Fayth's face in his hands. His eyes were exhausted. She can see how much she had put him through, and instantly hated herself for being the reason for his constant fatigue. All she ever did was make him look at her like that.

"Do you always have to make your old man terrified? What happened...?"

Lexis, who was sitting in a chair across the room speaking to Vincent right before Fayth had woken up, wondered if he should leave. She hadn't noticed that he was there, and because of her overdosing, she most likely won't remember what had happened between them earlier.

As soon as he stood up to take his leave, Fayth broke out in a sob. He paused mid-step and watched her. In that moment, he wished he had the ability or even the right to comfort her. Instead, Vincent wrapped his arms around Fayth and held her tightly as she resumed crying. Almost immediately Fayth felt safe. Safe enough to cry more. As if the episodes of crying weren't her cuffs of shame anymore, but an act of relief instead.
