So, the Autobots listened. They barely said a word as Amal explained her story from whenever she was in the mine. That it was her idea to come into the base, just to see what it was like and maybe get information.

But when she realized just how similar the two sides were, she decided against doing anything.

"Similar? Hilarious." Arcee said in disbelief. "It's true. I'm the only one who's seen both sides as equal. Each side thinks the other of constantly conspiring all the time in order to ensure the defeat of the other. While in reality, they're both just Cybertronians wanting to go home." Amal explained, crossing her arms as she dangled her legs over the railings.

"It's his fault for us not being able to." Ratchet murmured bitterly. Megatron narrowed his optics in anger, about to say something when Amal motioned her hand at him to calm down. Megatron held his glossa and simply tried to ignore the comment as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.

"I've been keeping track of the number of Autobot and Decepticon deaths since you arrived on our planet. The death toll? 1,273,381 to 2. And I've made the calculations. There are still thousands of Autobots that should be alive, but they're scattered to the stars in fear of facing the enemy." Amal explained as she stood up on the railing.

"Yea, but that's not even close to ones lost in the start of the war." Arcee said, crossing her arms. Amal opened her mouth to say something before the warlord spoke up.

"5,923,576,081 Autobot deaths." Megatron said as he stared at the ground. The Autobots looked at him. "Of course you would keep count." Arcee said angrily. The Decepticon leader stood up straighter.

"Compared to 13,628,401,734 Decepticon deaths." Megatron finished, his optics ridges cocking. The Autobots didn't say anything, only letting it sink in. Autobots had been so busy trying to figure out how to save Cybertron, that they didn't even realize how many innocent deaths they had in the fear that overtook them in trying to save the planet.

"That is why Cybertron fell." Megatron began again, his optics flashing with anger. "Because when any Decepticon showed the slightest movement to an Autobot, they're way was to slaughter them in cold Energon. Over half of those deaths were to Autobot negligence, or carelessness because of trying to save Cybertron, when in reality, what they did was only killing our planet more." Megatron seethed angrily.

And it was then, that none of the Autobots tried to argue back. They stood there, looking guilty for the thoughts they were having flashbacks to back on Cybertron. The warlord scoffed as he dropped his arms to his side.

"All this time, the blame has been out on me for Cybertron's fall...it was all of us, at the end of the day. No matter what, it was always all of our fault." And with that, Megatron turned and stormed down the hallway.

"Megs." Amal said quietly and stepped toward him, but he already disappeared toward the cell he was once in. Amal sighed and turned back to the Autobots.

"I'm sorry...I'm just, sorry for all this has caused." Amal said, shrinking her head in shame. "There is no need to apologize, Amal." Optimus finally spoke up after his long vow of silence to listen to Amal. Amal looked at him, smiling slightly.

"We all have done things we regret, but we cannot change it. We can only move forward now...together. For the sake of your planet and our survival." Optimus said as he approached her. "So, I'm guessing we won't be leaving anytime soon?" Amal asked with a sly smirk.

"Though you have been cooperative, we still cannot risk taking your word, or Megatron's, to let you go. Besides, I do believe you will be able to help us with something." Optimus said, motioning to the computer. Amal looked at it, seeing an Energon spike.

"That's a lot of Energon."

"Indeed. But they are different from what we've seen. We were hoping that maybe you would know." Optimus said. "Yea. They're Energon readings. But not normal ones." Amal said as she walked toward the computer.

"Then what are they?"

"Those—" Amal jumped onto the computer panels and typed into the computer, making it zoom in. She faced the Autobots and motioned to it.

"—a dark Energon readings."
