Chapter 80

"Amalgamous..."

The Prime nudged the girl, who grumbled and rolled over on the bed. "Amalgamous, wake up." He urged and poked her again. "What Optimus?" She grumbled lowly and draped her arm over her eyes.

"Come. The computer is going off again. Somebody's outside." Optimus explained and the blonde haired girl in bed sat up slowly, yawning. "Is it Lisa? She dropped off Tamales yesterday and oh my god they were heavenly!" Amal gushed, almost drooling at the thought of the food.

Optimus shook his head with a smile. "No, not this time. We're going out to investigate if you would like to come. If not, stand by, just in case anything is to go wrong." The Prime told her. Amal let out a yawn again. "I think I'll stay in here. My leg is still killing me." She said and Optimus nodded before exiting the room, leaving Amal to get ready.

The blonde haired girl limped across the room while grumbling about her 'no good of a cybernetic leg' as she grabbed her change of clothes she had gotten from some of the local markets.

The girl got dressed as she heard faint voices from the main room, making her frown as she slipped on her black shirt. She quickly put on a pair of socks before adventuring put toward the main room with the table and the computers.

"Yo, what's happening my dudes? Did Spike trip coming into the entrance again?" Amal asked as she entered the room and every head snapped in her direction. Amal frowned as she looked at the familiar looking humans before the room erupted in one giant, loud;

"AMALGAMOUS!"

Bumblebee was the first to reach her and he hoisted her up in a giant hug, almost sobbing in tears of joy. "Amal, primus sake! We thought we'd lost you for good!" He cried out, shaking the girl happily, making her head bob up and down quickly.

"What th—"

The scout finally put her down, only for her to be group hugged by Miko, Raf and Jack in a instant, all of them crying of happiness. "Guys...I appreciate the greeting, but what gives—?" She asked while trying to find air in the huddle she was trapped in.

The humans let go of her, and Amal looked at all the new arrivals, seeing Arcee and Bulkhead also among with, looking happy to see her. She caught sight of four familiar faces and instantly her heart stopped as they approached her.

"Breaks...knocks..." she breathed out and the two hugged her quickly. She sniffled, trying to contain her emotions but barely holding it in when she heard the big mech that helped raise her choke back a sob.

"Oh, Amalgamous..." Knockout whispered and kissed her on her head. "You're tough, you know that kiddo?" Breakdown said while pulling away, holding her head in his giant hand. Amal nodded with a sly smile, sniffling.

"Learned that from the best."

Soundwave approached and Amal hugged her, smiling big. "Didn't you miss me, Sounds?" She asked, looking up at the silent femme. Soundwave gave the faintest smirk in response, nodding before they pulled away and Amal met the eyes of the last mech.

"Babes..." She whispered with tears in her eyes. Starscream gave a small smile and tried to hold back his own tears. "What'd I tell you about those stupid emotions?" He said as he approached her. Amal smiled with her lip trembling.

"You have no right to tell me that now."

The seeker hugged her tight, leaning over to hold the small girl in his arms and Amal buried her face into his shoulder. "We thought we'd lost you, Amalgamous." He whispered faintly and Amal pulled away while still holding his arms.

"How?" She asked and Soundwave's glasses pulled up a screen, showing Amal's vital signs, showing her sparkrate flatlining. Amal looked surprised. "That's...what?" She said in confusion as she let go of Starscream and opened her panel in her arm that showed her vitals.

"Oh...that might do it..." The blonde haired girl said as every stared in shock seeing her spark rate flatlining on her vital progress.
