Amal stared at the wall she was facing for a second after she woke up abruptly. She rolled over and sat up, swinging her legs over the side of her bed and planting them on the floor, only instead planting them on something squishy that yelped.

Amal looked down and saw Starscream on the floor, looking frightened from the rude awakening. "Who the hell falls asleep right there?" Amal exclaimed. "I was tired." Starscream said defensively, pushing her feet off him and sitting up. "You could've taken the couch."

Starscream looked over, about to snap something about Megatron taking it but saw the Warlord gone from there. He frowned, and instead only shrugged at Amal before standing up and dusting himself off.

Amal stood up with him, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "I guess we should go...I dunno, make peace?" Amal said, giving a look at Starscream. The seeker shrugged. "Whatever we do lies in your hands." Starscream told her. "That's a scary thought." Amal bite her lip nervously.

"It shall be fine. I assure you. If the Autobots try to do anything to—" Starscream stopped when his Holoform started to slowly dissolve starting at his feet. "Uh. Babes, you're turning into Casper." Amal said as it reached his waist. Starscream looked at her for help before he completely disappeared.

Amal looked creeped out, but soon snapped out of her thoughts and went out of the room and went to Megatron's room. The door was open, and she peeked inside but saw no one.

"Megs?" She called out into the empty room, but was suddenly startled by a loud ped step down the hallway. She turned, and her eyes widened in shock and happiness.

"I can't go one morning without you coming to bother me?" Megatron, in his alt form, asked as Amal ran up in excitement. "You got your alt form back? No way! How?" She exclaimed, and right after Starscream and Soundwave rounded the corner in their alt forms as well.

"We took off their chips, genius."

The Decepticons looked up and saw Arcee standing at the end of the hallway. "Optimus wants to talk to you Amal, if you're up to it." Arcee told the girl, a gentle smile on her lips. Amal returned it, nodding her head.

"That's sounds pretty good right now."

As the other Decepticons walked in the room while Optimus and Amal left the base, the humans looked at them with curious looks on their faces. The other Autobots seemed relaxed but still had some weariness in their optics just like the Decepticons did as well.

"Your chips are completely off, and you have free range anywhere on Earth, but you still have tracking chips, so if anything is to happen..." Ratchet trailed off without even looking at them. "Better than being stuck in those Holoform's." Starscream mumbled bitterly, his wings twitching from being cramped up for so long.

"I don't understand how humans handle being so...small."

"And I don't understand how Decepticons handle you."

Optimus pulled to a stop and the passenger door popped open, allowing Amal to slide out carefully. She landed on her feet and turned to watch Optimus transform. The young girl turned back around and walked to the ledge of the cliff she asked to go on.

It was still pretty dark, and the sun was just starting to come up for the morning, making Amal want to watch the sunrise she always enjoyed.

Optimus walked over and they both sat down on the edge, sitting in silence for a few seconds until Amal broke the silence.

"I don't blame you." She said, looking up at Optimus. "But I know you blame yourself." She continued before shaking her head. "And you shouldn't." She told him. Optimus lowered his helm in shame. "How could I not?" He asked.

"Because you didn't know."

"It was an idiotic fire, an unnecessary one too."

"You did what you thought was right."

"Perhaps sometimes I am wrong then." Optimus stated bluntly, gazing off into the horizon. Amal stared at him for a second before sighing. "Optimus let me tell you something. When that whole thing happened, the entire Decepticon army was pissed." Amal told him.

"They wanted to track you down, and storm in wherever you were. I had never seen them so ready to do a mission." Amal said truthfully, hanging her head low as she thought back on it. "But luckily I woke up just in time, and I told them firmly to not. I went against Megatron's own orders to order them to stand down because I believed it wasn't right. You never even knew I existed, why should you be punished for something you had no control of?" The young girl looked at him, and he met her eyes with his optics and finally noticed the same bright blue that they shared.

"Megatron never told me about Optimus Prime, but he told me about Orion Pax, and how you were once brothers. And I believed you still are part of him, both of you are part of your past selves." Amal explained to Optimus and he knew what she was talking about.

"And I believe Orion Pax would've asked for forgiveness then move on, no matter the outcome, because he believes that not everything can be in his control for the good." Amal finished and sighed bitterly, standing up and looking into the horizon for a second as the sun peaked over more.

She met Optimus's optics again and reached her arms out. "So please Optimus...I beg you with all my spark and soul, don't blame yourself for something not in your control." Amal begged, looking at him with pleading eyes. Optimus gazed at her for a moment longer before placing his digit to her arms for her to hold.

The Prime smiled gently as her and nodded his head. "If that is what you wish." He said and Amal grinned happily and hugged his digit before pulling away. She sighed happily.

"Thank you, Optimus."

"No, Amalgamous, thank you."
