Hi and welcome to this story! Back in 2019 I wrote this book. I was in the middle of a break-up and wanted to do something to keep my mind of reality. Wattpad is and was my safeplace where I could share my love for Billie and this book.

"I'm so ready for this weekend." I turned the camera to selfie mode while smiling to my iphone. I've been counting down the days to this day and I honestly couldn't wait any longer. Attending a festival i've been wanting to go to way to long was an absolute dream come true. I cringed by the way the video turned out but decided to send it to some close friends. I twirled around the room checking my bags and making sure the outfit I was wearing was still clean from any diet coke stains. The outfit I wore was a suit from Zara with cut-out sleeves. The pants were flared and made my legs appear longer. After a double check I grabbed the bags and walked down the stairs. My best friend Kate was waiting patiently on my couch, she rolled her eyes at me when I appeared in front of her. "If you're planning on being this slow all the time, i'm cancelling this trip." Kate has the most sassiest attitude and knew exactly what to say at the right time, this was one of the reasons I love her. "Believe me, this time i'm ready."
We walked out after we noticed a loud noise coming from outside. Opening the door I noticed Lily waiting in her car in front of my home. "I can't explain how excited I am." Lily yelled while stepping out of the car to greet us. The smell of fresh roses embraced my scent when Lily hugged me. Her long blonde hair was curled perfectly and her pink lipliner matched with her tanktop. Lily was the most vulnerable one of us three, she appears soft and confident while deep down inside she is the most insecure about everything. I feel like a big sister taking care of her with Kate. "Wait, double check." I grabbed my bags and dropped them in the trunk beside their stuff. Loading up the tickets on my phone and going through my bags once again, I finally knew for sure we were ready to go. "Yes, lets get this party started!"
It was a 30 minutes drive, not too short and not too long. We sang with our spotify lists on shuffle and my heart jumped when Billie appeared on the radio. Billie Eilish, the one and only. A big popstar who was taking over the world. I remember hearing her song for the first time. It was with Kate, we were in the parking lot of Mcdonalds. Eating fries, drinking milkshakes and discussing about our music taste. Kate showed me this girl who had now blue long hair and sounded like an dream. It made my body shiver. While listening to Billie, quietly singing along I noticed Kate. Her eyes met mine in the rear view mirror. "What?"
"Nothing, its just so good. Isn't it." I agreed with Kate and smiled.
As we finally arrived at the hotel and got our keys for the room I got even more excited. Realising the moment was finally there to go to the festival. Our room was on the top floor. A room with sight of the californian hills. My jaw dropped when we walked inside. It was huge, three seperate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big scandinavian kitchen. "I'm taking the room with the biggest bed, maybe i'll need that." Kate's hysterical laugh got my attention while I was wandering away in my thoughts.
"Oh my god Kate please, you pervert." Lily's cheek were red like fire while she shook her head in disagreement.
"That's Kate.. and Just so you know that bitch just tryna fuck" I joked before walking up to my room.
*15 minutes later*
Waiting for everyone to be ready and freshed up, I was amazed by our view. The sun was about to go down as it was very late and you could see the whole city light up. Kate walked out of her room in an black jumpsuit. Her breasts were about to pop since the top was pretty small. I giggled when Lily appeared in the door, she's more down to earth. Wearing a mint green top with jeans complimenting her whole vibe.
I was wearing this white dress, long lace sleeves but thight around my hips. My long dark brown hair hanging down my shoulders, curled but combed out. Making it seem like beach waves.
"Okay that was enough waiting for today, we should go!" I stated while walking out of the room while my friends followed. There was a bus going to the festival site every 30 minutes. It took us about five minutes after we arrived. The area was filled up with happy human beings enjoying the evening.
"I heard Ariana Grande is about to perform." I noted while following my friends on the site.
"Girl where do you think we're going?" Kate looked at me with her eyebrows up.
Did I told you Kate's sassy?
While wandering through the crowd, I checked my phone opening the Instagram app. My heart skipped a beat for a second. Billie just posted a photo that she would be at Coachella. I totally forgot about it. While liking her picture I heard Lily shout my name. They were 10 meters away from me, fuck Lana, pay attention.
Ariana's set was dope, she hits the high notes as if it's nothing. Her vibe is heavenly and we enjoyed every minute of it while shouting all the lyrics of every song with her. After she performed her last song we decided to get some food, a vegan mexican foodtruck drew my attention. Everyone agreed to order some burritos and chill for a bit before deciding where were going next.
"So i heard from a little bird that Billie is gonna perform" Lily chuckled. I faced her while taking a bite from my burrito.
"Lana has to see that" Kate winked at me.
"I know you guys like her too." I said.
"Sure, but not as much as you tho" Lily said while sipping from her drink.
"If you don't wanna go we don't have to." I lied.
Kate smirked and shrugged her shoulders. "C'mon Lanabanana, you wanna go see her. Lily will be a fan one day."
Finishing my burrito I got up from the grass to throw away the piece of paper wrapped around it. My stomach was very full and ready for some drinks and a crazy night. "We should take some pictures in the front of the ferris wheel guys." I noted as I pointed at the big object in the distance. They agreed and got up after finishing their burritos. I told Lily and Kate to pose with their drinks when suddenly somebody else drew my attention. It was a dark blue haired girl with space buns on a little scooter, just scootering around. It looked pretty funny as the guards were running behind her, trying to catch up. "Lana, our picture?" Kate shouted over to me as I wasn't focusing on them. Her eyes became bigger when she noticed Billie. "Wait isn't that?-"
She got interrupted when I started to shake my head in excitement. We looked like two little girls jumping around.
"Lana you should ould totally take a picture with her!" She yelled while pointing at the dark blue haired girl.
"No.. she is just trying to have fun just as anyone else" I waved it away, and unlocked the phone again. "Picture? Right?" I asked them while turning the camera towards them.
Kate and Lily turned around in disappointment and then posed for the picture, trying to make it look like nothing just happened. I took the pictures and once i was done walked towards them to show them the pictures I just took. We were looking at the pictures when the girl on the scooter passed us on the right side. She looked at us and I instantly smiled trying to match her vibe. She didn't say anything beside sending me a wink from her playful face. That made my heart drop to the ground while my cheeks turned white.
"Lana, you look like you just seen a ghost.." Lily looked concerned while she grabbed for my arm "are you okay?"
