Billie has been away for a while now, and i've been struggling. I didn't think that it would be this hard, since i have a new job. But it has. I have been preparing for this month, but all the things i did prepare for were gone.

I threw on my work clothes before i try to call Billie, we haven't been in contact much. She was busy, and when she was free i was working. Literally every day.

"Hey babes, i wanted to know if you were good. I'm heading to work now, i love you."

I threw my phone in my bag and walked out of the house to get into the car, when i did i checked my phone once again. Still no sign of Billie, letting out a sigh while putting my phone away i started my car and drove to work.

After arriving at work and clocking in, i walked over to the bar where my boss Sophie was standing.

"Hey Lana, i'm glad you're here. Its really busy." I looked over the restaurant, yes it was quite full. But not that busy as i expected, so that was a slight relief. Which meant i didn't have to work till closing time. "Sure, i'm excited for today." I gave her a slight smile before I picked up the tray and started my daily work in the restaurant. Serving people, cleaning, ensuring that everything went smoothly and to make sure of course that all the customers were having their food.

It was around 8 when i was done and we all sat down at the bar, the last customers just left. We were open until 10, but since nobody was coming in we could chill ourselves. I took a sip of my glass of water and looked over to Sophie who was still filling in the cash register, to make sure all the receipts were filled in right.

"So you are dating the Billie Eilish?" Noah asked, my co-worker. He was a tall guy with dark brown curls and green eyes, a very mysterious type. But he has been very nice with me since the first day i came into work.

"Yup, the Billie." I nodded biting my lip softly, her name made me remind how much i missed her. I checked my phone, she still didn't answer me. In my mind, i made up again theories that she didn't want to think about me, but yesterday we were facetiming until midnight and everything seemed fine. I shouldn't be overthinking this much.

"Isn't it hard to date a superstar Lana?" Sophie asked looking up from the cash register, she looked slightly concerned and interested at the same time. I shrugged my shoulders while I went with my nails along the edge of my glass. "It is sometimes, especially that she is gone for another month now."

"I didn't think she would come out of the closet tho," Noah stated, i let out a laugh. "Its truly a wish come true.." He poked my shoulder and i stood up from the chair. "If y'all don't mind i'm going home. I will see you tomorrow."

"Thanks for the help today, and sleep well tonight," Sophie said, i thanked her for today and then walked to the exit. When i walked outside i looked around me, it was pretty quiet on the street too. I walked over to my car, while i searched for my keys. I then got in the car and started it, but first i checked my phone. Ofcourse.
