57: The One With The Pain

TONI POV:

"Toni." Cheryl walks into the classroom I'm sitting in. "Baby." She sits in front of me. "What's wrong?" She ask quietly. "Nothing. I'm fine." I lie. "What's wrong?" She ask again. I look down. "Football?" I nod. "My grades are down the toilet and because of that I've been suspended off the team until further notice." I whisper. "Do you want me to come over and catch you up?" She ask quietly. I nod. "Ok. I'll see you at six I'll get some Pops and we can catch you up." She kisses me quickly and leaves. "Keep studying though!" The bell rings and I head home and wait for a while. I knock on the door. "You don't have to do this." I whisper as she walks in. "Except I do. I don't want you to fail." She whispers. "Pops." She hands me a bag from Pops. We sit down in the lousy excuse of a living room and work for about a hour . The door slams open. "Toni, me and Fangs are going to go get drunk do you want join us at the drive i-." Sweet Pea sees Cheryl and the amount of panic on my face. "Oh, hi Cheryl." He says with a smile. "Get the hell out!" I yell. He nods and leaves. "Toni." I look down knowing Cheryl is about to raise hell on me. "You're drinking again?" I nod. "I'm sorry." I refuse to look up. "It's ok." I look up at her. "Well it's not ok, but it is ok." She whispers. I hold back tears. "I'm getting better. I promise." I whisper. "Let's just get back to studying." She avoids talking about the elephant in the room. "Cheryl." She shakes her head. "Cheryl please can we talk about it?" I ask quietly. She shakes her head. "Nope. You have midterms tomorrow."

"Antoinette Topaz?" FP walks over go me. Well he's the sheriff now. "What?" I look at him confused because he's using my full name. "Cheryl sent me." He says quietly. "Underage?" He nods. "Just get in my car we'll talk to in at the station and release you in about a hour or two." I nod.

"Cheryl's worried about you." I look down. "Toni I'm speaking to you as a father figure not the sheriff. If you want to get help there's places, you don't have to do this alone." FP tells me. "I don't know why Sweets and Fangs were asking me though." I say quietly. "Because they know you're back on drink and you never told them you have a serious problem because you don't let people know." I start crying. "I can't do this." I whisper. "Ever since my dad you know what happened why am I telling you." I take deep breath. "Sheriff Jones Cheryl Blossom is hear for Toni Topaz." Someone comes over his radio. "We'll be there in a minute." He says into the radio. "Come on." We walk out and he stops me. "Get help." He whispers. I nod. "I will." I whisper go over to Cheryl. "Toni." She pulls me into a hug.
