TONI POV:

I come home after a long day at work. "Cher! I'm home!" I yell. "I'll be down in a minute!" She yells from upstairs. I notice the whole house is dark except our bedroom, the kitchen and dining room. I walk into the dining room. Shit! It's our anniversary. "Don't worry, you can make it up to me in the bedroom." Cheryl smiles. "I completely forgot! I was going to pick up flowers and some chocolate but I just got so caught up with work." I sigh and she walks over to me. "I'm sorry work has been so stressful lately." I whisper. She cups my cheeks. "It's ok. I know Veronica has you running around like crazy." She whispers. "How about we relax, have some dinner, maybe take a long bath and see where the night goes from there. Ok?" I nod. "Can we watch a movie instead? We had a bath last weekend." I ask quietly. "Of course." She kisses me and we eat dinner. "And if you makes you feel better I tried to make dinner for you but I almost burned the house down, so here's Pops."

I lie down on the couch and start the movie. Cheryl sits closer to me. I rap my arm around her and we watch the movie. About 20 minutes into the movie everything changes and Cheryl is currently on top of me. "Baby right there." I moan as she grinds in the right spot. "Take off your pants." She kisses my neck. I unbuckle my pants, pull them down and pull my boxers off. "Cheryl." She looks at me. "Are you ok?" I ask quietly knowing something is not right with her. "I'm fine." She kisses my neck more. "Cheryl I'm serious." I stop her. "What's wrong?" She looks down. "I really don't want to talk about it." She whispers. I take a deep breath. I get up and grab my pant. I pull my pants on and walk out. "Toni!" I turn around. "How am I supposed to have a healthy relationship with my wife?" I ask frustrated. She walks over to me. "It's my mom!" She confesses. She looks down holding back tears. I walk over to her. "What happened?" I ask quietly. "She's- she's been trying to contact me." She whispers. "Cheryl..." she looks down. "I don't know what to do." I take her hands. "Have you... have you, you know? tried to talk to her?" I ask nervously. "Yeah." She whispers. "I just hate her so much and I don't know. It's nothing." She walks upstairs. "Cheryl!" I run after her. I stop her in the middle of the stairs. "Cheryl. Talk to me." She shakes her head. "Not now." She whispers. "Ok. But please talk to me about it." I whisper. She nods. "Maybe tomorrow. At Pops?" She smiles. "Yeah."
