115: The One With The Nerd

TONI POV:

"Antoinette Topaz!" My head shoots up. I look at the small cat and at Cheryl. I stand up. "If you don't explain to me why we have a cat all of a sudden, I will have your head!" I look down at the cat. "Well, I was walking home and I saw him or her I haven't checked! The cat was abandoned. I couldn't leave it." I tell her frantically. She sighs rubbing her eyes. "You would have called me!" She whispers. "I already have a appointment at the vet!" I tell her. "Can we keep it?" I ask picking the cat up. "You're not gonna take no for a answer are you?" She ask slightly pissed. "N-no." I shake my head. "Ok. But the second that thing! Makes any mess! We're finding it a new family. Ok?" I nod slightly scared of her. She's scary when she's determined. It's hot. Because it's not like what other people see. "Toni! Stop being turned on by my dominance." She looks at me. "Have you come up with a name?" She ask petting the cat. "No. I was hoping to have a gender first."

"Well it's a boy!" The vet smiles. "Can we keep him?" I ask quietly. Cheryl sighs. "I already told you the deal." She whispers. "So yes?" I double check. She nods. "Yes! That's a win for me." I whisper. The vet just rolls his eyes at the interaction between me and Cheryl. "Do you guys have a name for him?" The vet ask quietly. I look at my girlfriend. "I didn't want the cat in the first place!" Cheryl insist. "Is you say Tony Stark, I'm breaking you're heart." She whispers. "Ok, Iron Cat." I hear a groan next to me. "No! Umm... ahh... Kylo Ren." Cheryl groans even louder. "God! You're a nerd!" I look at her. "I'm naming him Kylo Ren. That's final." She smiles. "Ok." I look at the vet. "You're a nerd." He smiles and hands me Kylo Ren. "Hey. Baby." I smile rubbing his back.

"Toni." I look back at Cheryl. "What's wrong?" She ask quietly. I look down. "My parents abandoned me." I whisper. "With no explanation." I tell her. It's something she knows. "I couldn't just leave the cat Cher." I whisper. "That's why I said we could keep him!" She tells me. "I don't really want a cat but I know you were trying to do something good." I pull her closer. "I love you." I whisper. She smiles. "I love you too." She kisses me.
