2: The One Where Toni Has Serpent Business

CHERYL POV:

Toni is a serpent and she has serpent business. One night she comes to my window and knocks on it around 11:00, this was normal we have been hanging out without my mom knowing. But tonight was different. I opened my window and she stumbles in. I look at her face and see her face covered in blood and bruises. "Toni what happened?" I asked grabbing my First aid kit, she sits on the floor of my room and tells me what the ghoulies did to her. "I was leaving the wyrm and I was alone and they took advantage of that and attacked me. I came here because I had no where to go." She tells me. I was confused. "What do you mean no where to go?" She looks down. "My uncle locked me out and I was staying at sweat peas but he would have found them and killed them." She confesses.  She looks really nervous. "Also." She stutters. "What?" She stands up and pulls me into a kiss. I was shocked but I kissed back, I didn't think she felt the same way. "Cheryl I've liked you since the drag race." She confesses. I smile. "Pops when you told me I was sensational was when I realized that I liked you I have the whole time but that's when it hit me." She pulls me into another kiss. I slowly kiss her back. "Do you maybe want to um you know maybe we go um on a date tomorrow like an official date?" She nervously asked me. I slowly nodded. "Yeah After school." I said nervously. I've been nervous before with her, but My heart is still racing from the kiss. I never thought she felt the same, I guess it makes sense the stares on both side s of the story. The flirting, the coming over late at night. "What the hell is this?" It's my mom interrupting are moment. "Hi Ms. Blossom. We've met, I'm Toni Topaz." My mother practically growls at her. "What is your problem ever since Jason died, no ever since you saw me and Heather you have hated me. Do you want me to be happy?" I ask her softly. "Your deviant. You will do better with a guy not with some southside scum." Toni pushed forward about to kill her. "Say that again about your daughter and about me." She threatened. "Why are you sticking up for her." Toni stands there for a minute and doesn't say anything. "That's what I thought." She walks out. "Toni." She turns around to me. "It's fine your moms a bitch we all know that. Pops tomorrow?" She says with a grin. "Can you stay? I don't feel safe in this house." I see the concern on her face. "Cheryl, you can't stay here." I was about to cry. "And go where? I have no where to go"

The next day after school we do exactly what we said we would. We sit down at Pops. "Toni do you want to be my girlfriend like officially?" She smiles. "Is that a stupid question?" I laugh. "I'm taking that as a yes." She nods.
