70: The One Where Toni Can't Function

In this story Sweet Pea and Reggie are brothers. I know that doesn't make sense

CHERYL POV:

Toni hasn't been acting normal. She's been sleeping all day, not answering my calls or texts, when she's awake she's been moody, she covered in sweat but shivering at the same time and her place is a complete mess. I'm worried something is seriously wrong. "Sweets." I grab Sweet Pea's arm. "Blossom! What's up?" He ask leaning against his locker. "Is Toni ok?" I ask quietly. He looks down and shake his head. "No. She was on anxiety medication that they stopped making and nothing else is working for her, so right now she's going through a really bad withdrawal which I didn't know was possible." I slap him in the face. "Tell me the truth!" He holds his face. "Seriously she is getting off her anxiety medication!" He insist. "She never told me she had anxiety!" I whisper yell. He smiles sadly. "She doesn't tell anyone only me, her and the doctor. She's ashamed she has it this server, especially after her mom died!" I take a deep breath. "Bring her The Titanic, some Pops, marshmallows and chicken noodle soup. Oh and some ice cream and whip cream!" He smiles. "The Titanic?" I ask in shock. "Yeah, she really likes that movie, it'll keep her mind off everything! Oh and tissues! She'll try like a bitch." I laugh a little. "Anything else?" I ask crossing my arms. "I'll text you if there is."

Idiot #1: come over before you go to Tiny's. I have something that might cheer her up. Also make sure she takes a shower, she smells gross.

I smile at Sweet Pea's text.

Me: ok. Dip shit

I pay for all the stuff and leave. I get in my car, drive to Sweet Pea's and knock on the door. He opens the door, half naked. "Sorry, I'm a teenager." He apologizes. "We're you jacking off while you were texting me?!" I ask grossed out. "No, I was getting a blowjob." I roll my eyes. "What do you have for me?" I ask frantically. He sighs and goes inside. A few seconds later he walks out hold a video game. "Mario Kart." I look at him. "Whatever." I sigh. "I'll see you later." He closes the door. I walk over to Toni's trailer, which BTW is next to Sweet Pea's. I knock on the door and start to walk in. "Toni, it's me." I look around, I walk around. She's not in her room, the kitchen or the living room. I walk into the bathroom and she's in the shower. It's not on she's just sitting in there covered in sweat, shivering. "Toni." I squat down in front of her, reach my hand out for her to take. "I have some of your favorite thing." She looks up at me. "Cheryl what are you doing here?" She ask sitting up, looks at me in shock. I shake my head. "Take my hand." I whisper calmly. "I need help." She whispers. I sigh and help her up. We walk over to the living room, I sit her down, I sit down on the table in front of her. "I took a shower so don't have to do that." She whispers. "Why didn't you tell me about your anxiety?" I ask quietly. She looks down. "Because I had it under control until they took me off. After my mom died everything got worse. I didn't want to watch my  mother die in front of my eyes. With out my meds I everything I've been through is so much worse." She starts crying. I get up and pop The Titanic in. I walk back over to her and sit down.  I rap my arm around her. "Shit!" She looks at me. "What?" She ask quietly. "I forgot Ice Cream." She smiles for the first time in days. "It's ok." She whispers. I kiss her slowly. She lies her head on my chest and we watched the movie. I don't know what happened but next thing I know, Toni is shaking me away. "What?" I whisper. "Wake up." I sit up. "Is the movie over?" I ask quietly. "Yeah." She wipes her tears. "The movies so sad." She laughs. "Do you feel better?" I ask quietly. "Not really." She looks down. "What happened with your mom?" I ask quietly. She gets up, walks to the door and opens it. "Get out!" She says way to calmly. "Please." I get up and walk over to her. "Toni..."

"She kicked me out." I whisper to Sweet Pea. "Did you ask her about her parents?" I put books in my locker and nod. "She refuses to talk about it unless she brings it up." He hits my shoulder. "Mantle, Blossom!" Weatherbee yells, we both turn around in slightly terror. "Have either of you seen the Topaz girl? She hasn't showed up her for 2 weeks." He ask walking closer to us. "Her uncle is sick." Sweet Pea steps in. "He's her only family besides the serpents and us. It's not looking good for her uncle, so she might not coming back for the rest of the year." He straightens himself out. "Ok, tell her she needs to back here at the binging of next year." Weatherbee walks away. "Every time!" Sweets smiles. "What?" I look at him. "I say that every time. He never notices. Let's go check on her." He whispers. "Yeah." I nod agreeing with him. "Let's go. We both have Senior release." I tell him. We walk out. "Why didn't he notice we're all seniors?" I ask getting about to get into my car. "He's a dumb ass." He laughs putting his helmet on.

"Cheryl and I are worried about you." Sweet Pea whispers. Toni walks over to us. "Than maybe my mother shouldn't have been brought up!" She yells. "I'm sorry Toni, but one day you're going to have to talk about your mom! Even if you don't want to!" Sweet Pea yells at her. "How! I can barely even think about it without shaking in my skin! Every time my mom is so much as mentioned. I feel this aching pain in my heart!" Her voice cracks. "Toni." I step closer. "Toni-." She interrupts me by breaking down. "I can't do this!" I pull her into a hug. I look at Sweet Pea. "Give us a minute." I whisper. I take her to her room, god this place is a shit show! We lie down on her bed and lie there for a while.

"Hello?" Toni picks up the phone. "Yeah, that would be great. Thank you." She hangs up. "What's up?" I ask turning down the Tv. "Apparently there was so many complaints, that the company that makes my medication is going to start making it again." She smiles.
