CHERYL POV:

We walk down to the speak easy. I look at Toni. "What?" Veronica ask confused. "This is the wrong wine." She nods. "We couldn't get the one you wanted in time for your birthday party." I grab one of the bottles, look at it, do thar sarcastic nod thing and throw it across the room. "I want Moschofilero! This is pinot noir!" I yell. They both look at each other. "Why does everything have to suck? I need to prove to my nightmare of a mother that I can make it past 25!" I yell at them. "I want the Moschofilero by the 30th! If you don't have it I will fly to Greece and get it myself!" I tell her.

TONI POV:

Cheryl storms out. I look at Veronica. "I don't even know." She whispers. "She will go to Greece." I say quietly. "How do you deal with her?" She ask quietly. "I'm trying to figure that out myself." I whisper. "I'm sorry about the shattered glass." I say quietly. "Is she off her meds?" She ask. "No! But they become unbalanced when she's stressed." I explain. "I should get her before the town gets set on fire." I whisper.

I walk into the bathroom. "You ok?" I ask quietly. Cheryl looks at me. "I'm just stressed." I nod. "You don't have to prove anything to your mom." I whisper. She looks at me. "She's the reason I have anxiety! She's the reason I panic every time someone gives us a dirty look when we hold hands!" I look at her. "You still really do not have to prove anything to your mom!" I tell her. She looks at me. I look down. "I'll go fuck myself." I whisper. She nods before walking out of the bathroom and go into the bedroom. She walks out a few minutes later. "You ok?" I ask her. "I'm sorry." She whispers. I nod. "I get it." I whisper. I sit up and go closer to her. "You should take some of the meds that knock you out for a few days and i'll call your doctor and see what we can do." I say quietly. She nods. I kiss her. "Write down everything else you need for the party and I'll get Veronica to help me." She nods again. "Also, stop drinking coffee it's not gonna help any of this." I look at her. I kiss her again. "I love you." I whisper. She smiles. "I love you too." She whispers. "Write everything down." I say quietly. "Ok?" She nods. She sits up. "Yes you turned off the light in the bathroom." I say quietly.

"How's Cheryl?" Veronica ask quietly. "Better. She is taking some of her Downers and getting some rest." I whisper. "She wrote down everything she needs." I explain. "She hasn't slept through the night the past week." I tell her. "What's got her so worked up?" She ask quietly. "The party, her mom! Everything!" I explain. I look at her. "Cheryl gets stressed over the smallest things." I say quietly. "Isn't that what her medication is for?" I nod. "Yeah, it doesn't cure everything though." She nods. "She doesn't have panic attacks or anything as bad as it use to be." I whisper. "Like what?" She ask quietly. "She only ask once a day if I still love her, unlike the every 10 minutes I got before." I explain. "Stuff like that." I whisper. "How do you help her?" She ask concerned. "Honesty. This might sound weird, but I let her go through my phone and I constantly tell her where I'm gonna be and what I'm gonna be doing and when I'm gonna be home and if I'm running late I tell her why and all that. Always text her back immediately! We do couples therapy! Just stuff to ease her anxiety." I explain to her. "So she knows everything you do?" I nod. "But she does the same to me with everything so it's fairly normal for us." I shrug. My phone buzzes and it's Cheryl texting me. "Speaking of her." I say quietly.

Cheryl: when are you gonna be home again?
Toni: Around 5pm. Do you want me to bring home dinner?
Cheryl: I'm not really hungry right now

I put my phone away. "She ok?" I nod. "Yeah! Just asking when I'll be home." I say quietly.

I walk into the bedroom. "Hey babe." I smile. "Hey." Cheryl whispers. I sit down on the bed. "You feeling better?" I ask quietly. "No." I rub her shoulder. "I got my meds refilled. I'm waiting for the downers to wear off and I'm gonna take my Xanax." She explains. I nod. "I know." I whisper. She rolls over on her back. "How did the planning go?" She ask quietly. "Good! Veronica was able to get the fancy greek wine you wanted, and the flowers! I don't really remember what else we talked about but Veronica wrote everything down." I look at her. "Can I see it?" She ask. I grab my bag and hand her the notes. "Pen." I hand her a pen, she literally goes through everything and crosses out shit she doesn't like. "I want red table cloth with black chairs!" She corrects it. I smile. "You're so picky." I whisper. "It's my birthday." She says quietly. I smile. "Also the cake needs to be gluten-free. I don't feel like spending a week on the toilet."

Cheryl blows out the candles on the cake. Everyone claps and we eat the cake. "What did you wish for?" I ask her. "If I tell you, it won't come true." She whispers. I smile.

CHERYL POV:

I sit in front of Jason's grave and look up at the sky. "Please be safe." I whisper.
