87: The One With The Twins

TONI POV:

"Cheryl. Maybe it'll be good." I whisper trying to rationalize her irrationalness. Smoke is coming out of her ears. "Toni! This is my brother we're talking about." I stop her from storming. "Babe. What happened?" I ask quietly. She shakes her head. "Cheryl!" She stops at the door. "It's my mom and the twins." She whispers. "She's trying to take them as her own. I don't want her to do that." I take her hand. "We'll fight for them." I tell her. "These are almost 3 and I have only been with them for a few months." She sit down on the floor. "Cheryl. Dear." She looks up at Nana Rose who's just strolling through. "Put some underwear on dear." I smile. Cheryl gets up. "This isn't over."

"Cheryl talk to me." I rub her shoulder. She looks at me. "We're adopting the twins." She whisper. I smile. "You're lucky we're both 18." I kiss her. "We're changing their names right?" I ask quietly. "Oh yeah that's the first thing we're doing." We both laugh. "I'm doing this for Jason." She whispers. "I know." I smile. "This summers been tough, this might be actually be a good thing." I whisper kissing her cheeks. "I never really got to say goodbye to Jason, I get what Archie was going through. Fred was everyone's dad, he needed to honored for that."

"What do you want to name them?" The judge ask looking at the twins. "Jason for Juniper and Max for Dagwood." Cheryl looks down at the twins. The judge nods. "Ok. Just sign the paperwork." She smiles.
