Age: 16
Bills POV
  Today felt so weird. Stan was out sick, that never happens. It must've been bad for him to not come to school. He takes school very seriously so it just felt really off. Right now, I was sitting at lunch with Ben and Bev.
"Where are Richie and Eddie?" I asked them
"Janitors closet" Bev said while sitting in Bens lap
"What? How do you know that?" I asked her
"He told me" she answered nonchalantly
"If Richie wasn't gay I would honestly think you two were together" I said
"Shut it Bill, you know I only have eyes for Ben" She said while eyeing Ben fondly who was reading a book. I saw him being to blush as he looked up from his page.
"I love you too Bev" he told her
She leaned in and pecked his lips and I internally groaned. How come they get to be all lovey dovey and the one person I wanna do that with is home sick, possibly dying.
I pouted and I leaned my head on the table.
"Aww, you miss Stanny?" Bev said and I just flipped her off while she laughed loudly
"Aren't you gonna go see him after school to make sure he's ok?" Ben asked
"I mean yeah, but he's sick"
"You better go over there and make sure that one of the few people that are actually rational out of all of us doesn't die" Bev told me
"I'll do my best"
After last period was over, I rushed out the building and I immediately walked to Stans house.
When I got there, I knocked on the door and his mom answered.
"Hello Bill" She said while smiling. I love Mrs. Uris. She's such a sweet lady and she didn't deserve all the years of heartbreak brought on by her ex husband aka Stans dad. Luckily for her, she got a divorced and kicked him out and he hasn't been back since.
"Hi Mrs. Uris, I'm here to see Stan to make sure he's ok" I told her
"He's been in his room all day, you can go right ahead"
I smiled and thanked her and walked to his room. She also knew that Stan and I were together so she didn't question why I was the only one who came by.
I walked to Stans room and I saw the door was closed. I knocked on the door softly.
"Come in" He said from inside. I peeked my head inside his room and I smiled softly at him and he smiled back.
"Hey Billy" He said
I walked in the room and I closed the door behind me.
"Hi Stanny" I said softly while setting my bag down
"What are you doing here?" He asked me
His face looked blotchy and he was sweating slightly and his nose seemed like it was stuffed up.
"I wanted to make sure you were ok" I said
"I don't wanna get you sick" he said
"It would be worth it" I said sitting next to him on his bed.
"Bill-" he began but I cut him off
"No, I'm not going anywhere" I said
I put my arms around him and I held
him close to me and he laid his head on my chest.
"How you feeling?" I asked him
"Like I'm dying" he replied
"I'm sorry Stanny" I ran my hand through his hair knowing he loves it
"How did I even get sick? That doesn't happen"
"I know"
He wrapped his arms around my waist and cuddled closer to me. I kept my hand in his hair.
"I love you" he mumbled
"I love you too baby, get some rest, I'll be here when you wake up" I told him
"Ok" I saw his eyes get heavy and eventually he fell asleep.
Time Skip
  At around 7:00pm, Stan woke up again. I was still in the same position I was when he fell asleep. I was too scared to move in fear of waking him up.
"Hi Billy" he said
"Hey baby, how you feeling?"
"A little better, my headache went away"
"That's good"
Just then Mrs. Uris walked in.
"Hey Bill, your mom called she said it's time for you to go home" she said
"Noooo" Stan said burying his head in my chest and I rested my cheek on his head.
"It's ok Stanny, I'll be back tomorrow, I promise" I told him
"Ok"
He moved from off me and I stood up and stretched and I put on my shoes and I grabbed my bag.
"I love you ok, take some medicine and get some rest" I told him and kissed his forehead
"I love you too" he replied
I flashed him a smile before kissing his cheek and standing up and walking out his room and going home.
