The three brothers stumbled out into alleyway beside the home, each grunting in pain as they grasped onto each other. No sooner had they escaped, their exit crumbled behind them and they watched in dismay as their home fell to ruins. Five turned to Klaus shocked as he suddenly saw everything Y/n had seen in him. "You saved my life. Our lives." Five said astonished. Y/n had always said he was capable of amazing things, he just needed help. But he was able to help himself and saved their lives. Diego nodded, turning to Klaus. "Yeah, you saved us." Diego cheered, grateful that his brother was sober and becoming more mature. Klaus stammered, trying to explain how Five was only half correct in his statement but they didn't listen as Diego pulled him into a tight hug.

Ben stared betrayed at Klaus for having taking credit for his act of heroism. Klaus shrugged, feeling guilty but knowing Diego was still in shock and definitely wouldn't believe that his dead brother was the one who had actually saved him. Five turned to the wreckage behind them, sick to his stomach as depression loomed over him. But his attention was drawn away and his heart dropped as a familiar figure stepped into view from one of the windows. "Shit, Mom!" Diego shouted, pushing away from Klaus and waving his arms to their mother. They all shouted for her to leave the house, begged her to escape but it was no use. She simply smiled at them on the verge of tears.

Diego grew more desperate, screaming for her but she didn't move knowing her chance of escape had long since passed. "I'm going in after you!" He shouted to her but Five and Klaus grabbed hold of him preventing him from doing so as dust fell over them. She stared down at them, overwhelming love for all of them making tears stream down her face despite her being only a machine. She blew her sons a kiss making them stop to watch her as she became another casualty to the house's downfall.

Diego continued to cry for her as they reluctantly made their say down the alleyway, out of range of the aftermath of the explosions. Diego mourned the loss of his mother again while Klaus mourned her for the first time, having been gone when she was killed. However Five mourned a different, more wounding death. The one of the only person in the world he truly loved and would die for. One who he had lost before. One he refused to live without. And this time he wouldn't.

"Luther, let me go!" Y/n yelled, kicking her legs and trying to hit him with her elbows. But everything she did proved useless as he lead her out to the street. He carried her across the road at a hurried pace to meet Allison who watched the destruction of their home with an unreadable expression. Upon seeing her sister, Allison rushed to her and pulled her down from Luther's grasp. But rather than accepting Allison's embrace, Y/n turned with fire in her eyes as she slapped Luther. Their significant difference in height make it difficult to strike him hard but that simple touch was all she needed to make further hits more damaging. She punched him hard in the chest using his own strength to send him stumbling back into the street. He stared shocked at her as he tried to catch his breath.

He had just saved her life. Why was she beating him?

She didn't stop there, storming out into the street behind him. Allison tried to grab her arm and hold her back but Y/n was too quick and she threw her fist into Luther's stomach making him groan and fold over. "You ruined everything!" She screamed at him as he looked up at her still painfully oblivious as to why she was angry. Allison cried trying to call out to them but she couldn't say a word, instead scribbling frantically into her pad before dashing out in front of Y/n.

Y/n glanced down at the paper reading Allison's messy words. 'HE MADE A MISTAKE!' It read. Y/n ignored her, pushing past and marching towards her brother. She knew he made a mistake. He had been making mistakes all their lives. He listened and obeyed their father, someone who only had his own interests in mind. He fell in love with her even though everyone knew Five was the only one she'd love. He trusted their father and he became an outcast confined to the moon for it. And finally, he didn't trust his sisters and he lost everything because of it.
