One of the great things about being commander in chief is getting to know our men and women in uniform in a very intimate way, whether it's visiting Walter Reed and seeing our wounded soldiers, or being on a base and talking to families, or interacting with them on missions. They're the best of the best: always thinking about the mission, not thinking about credit, not thinking about who's upfront.
President Barack Obama
Everyone starts to run away from the gunfire and I push Kevin down behind the truck that's on fire and I feel a burning sensation on my arm and see that a bullet hit me. AB starts to shoot at the window to cover us from the gunfire and I get Kevin and pull him towards where everyone else is at.
"Thanks man, I thought we were dead for sure," Kevin tells me.
I tell him "Don't mention it."
Lawrence says that I'm hit and I tell him that it's just a scratch. He gets mad and shoots the rifle at the wall next to the window and there's a huge explosion and where the wall used to be at, is now a pile of rubble and concrete made into nothing but dust.
I laugh at him and say "Come on man, there's no need for all this hostility."
He starts laughing and says "yeah well, they must be shitting bricks by now."
I ask AB if there's anyone there and he tells me no and that he thinks that they ran inside.
"Ok, stick to the plan, AB stay here, Marcus and Kevin will go on the far side of the house and Lawrence and I will go on this side of the house. I got to keep an eye on him since he's so trigger happy with those exploding rounds." I laugh while saying that.
"Hey man, you requested them, so you know that I'm going to use them." He replies.
I shake my head and tell everyone to switch to the rifles.
Kevin and Marcus run to the other side of the house and Lawrence and I run to the closest part of the house. We start looking through windows and see no one. I can hear a lot of Spanish and it sounds like there are 3-4 people inside. I see the phone lines and rip them out. Let's just hope that this fool hasn't made any phone calls or else we're going to be in deep shit. Lawrence tells me that he still has 6 explosive rounds left. I tell him to save them just in case we do get more reinforcement when its time to go, then we can blow them to pieces.
I move under a window and take a peek, I see Garza and 3 others standing with him. I tell Lawrence to shoot the window so I can throw a concussion grenade. I tell Kevin and Marcus to get ready so when the concussion grenade goes off, then they can go in and take down the guys and get ready for extraction. They agree and tell me that they are in position inside the house.
I give Lawrence the count and then he shoots the window and I throw the grenade inside and once it goes off, I hear yelling and screaming and a lot of grunting.
We go inside and see everyone is knocked out and tell Marcus to do a final sweep of the house. He yells that its all clear and I tell Lawrence to go with AB and keep an eye out just in case anyone shows up. He says ok and starts back to where AB is at. I tell Kevin and Marcus that we need to get out of here before anyone else shows up. I tell Kevin to kill whoever's left and Marcus carries Garza and we start walking back to front. AB tells me that he's going to go get the truck and bring it back. I get a call on my phone and it's the soldier that I called earlier. He asks me everything was ok. I tell him to get the chopper ready. We will be there in 15 minutes. He says ok and hangs up.
I call Daniel on the radio and ask him if everything is ready and he tells me that we are ready to go. AB comes back with the truck and we load up Garza and I blindfold him so that he doesn't see who anybody is. Once we get back at the ranch, I throw Garza into the back of the armored truck and ask Daniel where my cache is at. He tells me that it was in the barn because he was waiting for the rest of us to put everything inside before it was loaded up.
I walk to the barn and take out what's left of the Mexican money and hand it to Raul.
"No te gastes el dinero en una cosa. Después van a pensar que nos ayudaron. Es mejor no llamar la atención." I tell him.
He thanks us for everything and I wave bye to Carmen. We load up what's left and start driving off to the airport.
Once we make it to the airport, I can see that the helicopter is ready for us. We take out the caches and load them and load up Garza also. I tell Daniel, Marcus, Kevin, Lawrence, and AB to get in the chopper and head back to the airport in Del Rio.
"Wait for me, I will be there in about 8 hours. I just need to drop off the money and then we will be heading your way." I tell them.
They tell me that it's too dangerous, and I tell them that Fito and Drew will be with me so that in case something happens, then they can be my back up. I kept 3 rifles and a few grenades and the case with the special throwing stars that Evelyn made for me just for luck.
They tell me to be careful and I salute the soldier that helped us and see that they fly off northeast, back to the airport. I call my godfather and tell him that I have everything. And he tells me that he will be waiting for me at my grandpa's ranch and that he has a surprise for me when I get there.
