Surplus wealth is a sacred trust which its possessor is bound to administer in his lifetime for the good of the community.

Andrew Carnegie

The next day Roberto came with me to home depot to buy the materials I needed to make the bow and arrows. He asked me how a PVC pipe would make a bow. I explained it to him in complete detail and he told me that he had to see it to believe it. I laugh and tell him that I would teach him how it would be done. I go outside and Roberto follows. I ask a few contractors if they had any jobs available. A few told me that they already had jobs and three of them told me that they were looking for work. I tell them that I would hire all three. They look at each other and ask me what the jobs were and I tell them exactly it was and how much I would pay. They ask me where the job was and when I tell them, they tell me that it was kind of far away. I tell them that I needed the job done within a few months. They say that they would follow me out there and we head back to the ranch.

Once we made it back to the ranch we all get off and I walk to the empty part of the ranch. I tell them where I wanted the school, the laundry mat, the mechanic shop, the church, and the clinic. They tell me that it would take about 15 men each. I also tell them they all had to be done with plumbing and they had to be sturdy because I needed them to last a long time. They tell me that they can get the job done. I thank them and tell them that once they have the people, they can start immediately. They tell me that tomorrow they will come back with the people and that they needed an advance for the supplies on building materials. I tell them that they needed to clear out the land first before they can build anything. We talk about the whole arrangement and I tell them to come back next week with the estimate of the supplies once I hired a bulldozer to clear out everything. They say ok and we shake hands and they leave. Roberto asks me about the contractor for the radio tower and I tell him that next Sunday we needed to meet him at the home depot but that Saturday I was going to call him so he could meet me there so I could give him the money. He asks if he could do it so I didn't have to go out and start healing. I tell him that he could go, just as long as my brother went with him since he was going to have a lot of money, I didn't want him to get hurt or killed if the guy was going to try to rob him. He says ok and I tell him to take me back home because the heat was killing me. He laughs and says that it is always hot in Mexico. I tell him that I knew that since I was raised in Mexico since I was a kid but the sun still hasn't changed since I was little. He laughs and says that the Aztecs were known as the children of the sun, that was how we endured the sun's heat. I laugh and tell him that I wish I was a child of the snow because this way I could stay fresh. He laughs while we walk back to the truck.

Roberto drops me off and I tell him that I would see him tomorrow. He says ok, I get off the truck and head inside the house. I greet everyone and the twins come running towards me to give me a hug. I ask them how they were and they tell me that they thought that I had left again. I tell them to not worry about that for a long time. They hug me again and Lydia says that breakfast was ready. I thank her and take a seat. She made eggs with potatoes and gave me a few flour tortillas and I ate it up so good. It was nice to see that Lydia was getting better at cooking. I thanked her for the meal and asks me if it was good and I tell her that it was really good. She smiles and tells me that she thought that it needed something else. I tell her that it was fine the way it was. She says ok and takes my plate to get it washed.

The rest of the day I spent it in the computer room. I was scanning bases, scanning places I had been to, scanning my house in DC and finally scanning the white house. Everything was the same, nothing changed. I figured that the only thing I could do was maybe find my old team and ask them to join me in the final battle. I figured that the only way that was going to happen was to send one or two people out to find them.
