Hi! First of all, I would like to apologize for the late update. That's because I decided to finish it until Chapter 40. So in return, expect that the updates will happen in consecutive days for three days starting today!

Second, I don't know if you noticed, especially the old readers, but I had some changes with the teaser of the novel. Or more like, I added it.

Thus, I recommend, before proceeding to this chapter, might as well check it out in the chapters panel seen in this book just as well.

It was entitled SEASON 1: Perks of Having Each Other just after the Part 5 of the prequel and before the first chapter of POHEO. It consists of the summary/teaser for this season.

And lastly, yup, you read it right. I parted the story into seasons and if you're now here at this point, you're near to reading the Season Finale exactly at Chapter 40. But don't worry. The second season will be found in this book, too. There are no necessary changes regarding the flow and update. Talagang pinaarte ko lang! Kunwari, seasonal. Haha! So, stay tuned and see you there!

Chapter 38

Revelations (Part 1)

Obedient and modest, that's what I'm trying to impose while listening to Mom's instructions.

Lately, we've been very busy with the project. Palapit na nang palapit ang holidays, kaya ibig sabihin lamang noon ay palapit na rin nang palapit ang bagong taon, which also means, Stellar Beauty will soon be unveiled into the world of fashion.

"Any updates about Cent Laurel, Ms. Allester? They sent the application and portfolios, right?"

I nodded. "Yes, Ma'am. I've already sent it to the assigned department."

Mother smiled at me.

Ever since that day, mas naging mahigpit sa kanila ang manager at publicist. Every time he will ask for a day off, they will grant it but they make sure he's under surveillance so in the end, he'll end up spending that day on the set or in his studio rather than to be caught.

Naiintindihan ko naman iyon. What happened that day was such a ruckus. After leaving the studio, I was left behind with those unfamiliar people.

Yes, I was frightened and very hurt. But there were still people who accommodated me all throughout the process. Kasama na roon ang staff na babaeng nakasalamin, her name is Charlie, si Gavin, at ang casting director na si Mr. Levi na kakaiba ang tungo sa akin kung ikukumpara sa treatment niya sa ibang nag-audition.
