I received a call from work at 1am. I agreed to cover a coworkers shift. I mean, we received a $3 an hour raise because of COVID-19, so I would take any opportunity to earn double my usual salary. The coworker who couldn't come in was being quarantined because doctors suspected her fiance to possibly have COVID-19. She wasn't showing symptoms but they wouldn't test her until she did. I thought it was weird.

Nonetheless, I woke up at 4:30am and went to work. I text my Mom to let her know where I was. After my shift, I literally walked in the front door to immediate nagging. My brothers were taking the opportunity to run their mouths and it made me instantly angry. Then, they wanted me to go out and haul wood with them.

I was still in college and I had homework to do! Just because I worked doesn't mean the homework went away. After a fight, they finally stormed off. I was literally up until 2am trying to finish my homework. It was crazy. But, some nice thunderstorms rolled through that night and I enjoyed that at least.

Honestly, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep myself sane.
