I have just begun to hear the news of George Floyd. I guess he died a few days ago and I didn't really understand until I saw the footage of the way he died. It breaks my heart. That poor man did nothing wrong. Even the surveillance footage proved he didn't resist arrest... but that cop gave no mercy. Because of it, protests and riots were ignited in Minneapolis. I know racism has been an ongoing issue for my country.
I went with my Mom to the nursery a few miles down the road. We picked up a variety of different plants. We got the garden ready to begin planting but we're waiting until we are sure the cold weather is gone. It would be a shame to plant too soon and have a frost kill our hard work.
