My mom was finally free, so we went to the nearest city for some shopping. I was pleasantly surprised with all the sales I hit. I actually got two pairs for shoes for less than $50 and I was very happy about it. My new shoes for work are really nice and comfortable, I can't wait to wear them. Of course, my Mom and I found a plant sale and we ended up buying way more plants than we need. But, we're suckers for pretty flowers.
I also got a volleyball for free and I've always wanted one. They ran up the price wrong, I went to customer service to get it fixed, and they refunded all my money. It was a nice surprise. I picked up a few others things, including shorts and jeans, a new coffee mug, new coffee to brew, and other little things. I don't go shopping very often but I enjoyed today. It was nice.
