One of my college friends was in town. She let me borrow something during college for my classes and I never had the chance to get it back to her, so she asked if I could drop it off. Naturally, I thought about social distancing. But at this point, I work a public job and so does she, so our chances of getting it from each other aren't any different than getting it from a customer.

I really enjoyed catching up with her. I mean, we really had plans for this summer. We had a road trip to the beach planned but now it isn't going to happen. We ended up talking about all the memories we made during our first year of college and it only increased my nostalgia. I really miss college and my friends. I want nothing more than the world to reopen.

After we hung out a bit, I headed home to start writing. I feel like I'm behind, constantly. It was a rainy afternoon and there was some thunderstorms during the night (my absolute favorite!). I really enjoyed listening to rain on my window. Especially while I was writing wrapped up in my favorite blanket with some coffee. Life goals, I tell you. Quarantine or not.
