Mar and I walked out of Spencer's with a bag full of shit.
mar: you think they done ordering their ice cream?
Ameera: idk call them.
mar dug for his phone in his pocket and called Kai.
Mar: hello?
mar put it on speaker phone.

Mar: where yall at?
I looked around as i held the bag. Mar reached down for my hand. I gave it to him and he held my hand.
Kairi: at the food court.
mar: bet we're coming rn

mar hung up and we started back walking.

We walked around the corner to the food court and went to go sit with everyone else.
Marie: meera you're finally back. i had to stay with these idiots it was the worse 30 minutes of my life.
i laughed and looked under the table. Mar was still holding my hand. I looked at him and he was talking to Samy.
I smiled and held his hand tighter.
Marie: meera come get some to eat w me.

i said copying mar's words. Samy and Mar both look at me smiling.
i let go of mars hand and walked to dairy queen w marie.
We both ordered and sat at a table near dairy queen. As soon as i sat down, I saw the old man again.
Ameera: dude that old man is following me.
Marie: who?
marie looked around. I pointed to the guy and she looked that way.
Marie: omg ew
Ameera: ifkr i feel so sick.
Marie: go get mar.
Ameera: Lets go sit back over there instead.
