"Mmm....Aunty itnaaa yummy hai!", Sana moaned, making Sidharth turn away from the TV and sneak a glance. This girl would be the death of him someday, he thought.

"Arrey, toh kha na! Thoda sa aur le beta...", Aunty lovingly poured some daal dhokli into her bowl but she resisted.

"Meri dietician maar dalegi mujhe Aunty. Ghar me parathe thoons ke aai hun aur ab yahan aake phir chalu ho gayi...", she moved her plate away from Aunty as she literally forced her.

"Kuch nahi hota...ismein protein hai, healthy food hai ye...kha le chupchap...", Aunty justified.

"Haan, aur 2 kilo ghee toh hai hi nahi usme...", a flying comment came from Sidharth, whose eyes were still glued to the TV.

"Aunty chant kinna hai dekho...kaan iske yahin hain, bhale aankhein tv par hi hain...", Sana told Aunty, while slyly taking her plate to the sink before she could be force-fed more. Sidharth chose to ignore the ladies.

"Arrey...tu kahan bhaag gai bacche?...", Aunty finally gave up.

"Bas Aunty, main na phat jaungi ab...haye, aap nahi hote toh main abhi 10 baje aake khana banati?...Mujhe toh yaad hi nahi tha ki Ritu ko bol dun aane ke liye...", she hugged his mother, thanking her for the meal.

"Mujhe yaad tha, par maine socha itne din ho gaye, aaj Shehnaaz yahi dinner karegi...", Aunty kissed her forehead. Their moment was again interrupted by a groan from Sidharth.

"Tu kya TV dekhne ka naatak kar raha hai? Idhar hi aa ja...", Aunty taunted him.

"Oh please! I have better things to do in life than this milan-drama of yours...", he replied with a smirk.

"Muh tod dena hai tera...", Sana mumbled.

"Abbey, chal na paka mat zyada. Khana kha liya na tune, ab ja na yaar....nind aa rahi hai ...chal tereko ghar chhod ke aata hun...", he said, getting up, wearing his bathroom chappals.

"Tujhe itni kya jaldi hai isko ghar bhejne ki?...Baithne de...", his mother asked, feigning anger, when she had a clear idea that he wanted some alone time with her. His attention was on them the whole while. Her actually, to be precise.

"Arrey Mom, kal saath me shoot hai hamari, ek promotion ki. Early morning set up hai beach par. 9 baje se ek minute late nahi ho sakta pohochne me...3 din se soyi nahi hai ye dhang se, travel bhi hua hai, aaj bhi shoot me gai hai...main acche se jaanta hun ye kal pakka nahi uthegi time pe...", he explained, while his mother looked at him, with her hand on her chin, trying to suppress a smile.

"Abbey o moti...drame nahi chaiye mujhe, uth..", he pushed her out, while she whined.

"Theek hai, main room me hun. Door locked hai...khud khol lena chabhi se, good night...", Aunty yelled at him.

"Arrey main aa raha hun 5 minute me Mom...", he replied, but his mother had locked already.

"Tu pagal hai? Pagal hai tu?..", Shehnaaz asked him, slightly embarrassed.

"Abbey, tu chal na bey...", he pulled her inside the lift. He clutched her by her neck, his arm snaked tightly around it as she yelled.

"Kutte, chhod...kya kar raha hai...", but he paid no heed. The lift stopped on the 10th floor, but his hand was still tightly around her neck. A middle-aged woman rode the elevator and eyes them longer than usual. Sidharth smiled at her, while Sana struggled to move his hand off her, but instead, he pulled her closer to him, with the hand still in its place. The lady nodded at them, but stayed silent. At the 12th, Sidharth pushed her out, now holding both her shoulders. Sana giggled at his unruly behavior and tried unlocking the door.
