I'm at my office looking over some documents for one of my new clients, with Brooke. We've been here for a couple of hours, and that's how long I told Chris I would be here. I figure I'm going to be here a little longer, so I grab my purse to get my phone out, to call him.
I look at my phone and I see that I have two missed calls from him. I didn't even know my phone was on vibrate. I instantly get nervous because he called back to back, and that was almost an hour ago. I touch his contact and the phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" He answers
"Hey baby! I'm sorry I missed your calls. My phone was on vibrate for some reason. Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, baby." He says sounding like he's asleep.
"Why do you sound like that? Are you asleep?" I ask
"Nah, I'm chilling... working."
"Okay...do you want me to come home? I was calling to tell you I might be another hour." I say
"Nah, you can stay....I'm straight." Something isn't right.
"Okay, are you sure?" I ask, feeling uneasy.
"Yeah. I love you mama. Make that money!"
I laugh, "I love you too, babe. One hour."
"Okay." The call ends.
I look at my phone for a couple of seconds, then I put it down. That was a little odd. I feel like something is up with him. I'm just going to finish this one document, then I'm going to go home.
Just as I get back to work, Brooke comes into my office.
"Sooo?" She say, with a huge smile on her face.
"What?"
"Have you seen it?" Brooke asks
"Oh god, what?" The first thing that popped in my head was Aubrey. I know this has something to do with him. She's always up his ass. I don't know why, but she has always been team Aubrey.
"Drake's Instagram." I knew it.
I roll my eyes, "I do NOT care about that."
"Oh but I think you should." She holds her phone out to me.
"Brooke...I'm working." I say irritated. I don't care.
"Just look at it." She says holding her phone out in front of me.
I exhale and take her phone.
