Upside Down

Shawnie's POV 

The next morning, I woke up to Aubrey kissing my shoulder and rubbing my stomach.

"Good morning, baby." I say placing my hand on his.

"Mornin, Mami." He says between kisses.

"Is there a reason why you woke me up?" I ask

He laughs, "Yes."

"What?" I don't bother to turn over, I keep my back to him. I kinda have an attitude. I was sleeping good.

"I have to go in a few hours." He says in my ear.

"What? Noooo." I say slightly whining.

"I know but I gotta go. I have to do an appearance." He says

"But babe it's technically my first day here. How are you going to leave me when I just got here? I don't want to be in his big ass house by myself."

"It's work. I'm only going to be gone for a couple of days. This will give you time to get used to everything." He says

"I don't want you to leave me here by myself, I just got here." I say with an attitude.

"Mami, you knew I had to take this trip to London. Two days and I'll be back. Mia and Lexi are here with you, so you won't be completely by yourself. If you call Mercedes right now, I'll fly her in."

"I don't want Mercedes, Mia, or Lexi. I want you here with me."

"I want to be here with you too." He sighs, "Don't make this harder on me. Please. It's already a struggle for me to have to leave you."

"Fine, whatever." I break out of his embrace and I try to get out of bed but he grabs my arm.

"Don't do that..." He pulls me back into his arms and I relax. "You know I don't want to be nowhere else but here with you. If you wanted to go I'd take you with me but I know you don't want to be on the plane for seven hours."

"No...I don't...but I don't want to be away from you."

"Are you sure? You know your legs and feet are
doing to swell." He asks

"Yes, I want to go with you. I'll deal with it." I say

"Okay. Check with your doctor to make sure it's safe for you to fly that long and I'll make arrangements to accommodate you. Now that that's taken care of, why don't you climb up on Papi and let's have a really good morning."

I laugh as I climb on top of him.

"As soon as you have this baby, I'm gonna get you pregnant again." He says

"So is that your plan, keep me pregnant the whole time we're together?" I say

"At least for the next two years. I want these kids out of you." He says

"Let's have this one first, then we can talk about another one."

"Okay..." he laughs

After we had sex, we got dressed for the day, and we packed. As we were packing Oliver called and told Aubrey the appearance was cancelled. Something about a terrorist threat. Aubrey was a little upset, but I can't say that I was. I really didn't want to go. I just didn't want to be here by myself.

"So since the trip to London is canceled, why don't you call your dad and tell him we're coming for a couple of days." He says

"I don't know about that. I haven't even turned my phone back on to see all the backlash from everything yet. He might make things worse." I instantly feel my anxiety start to rise.
