Magic Bullet pt.2

ARIADNE'S POV

As Oceanus and I walked into to the clinic we called out for Deaton. " Hey! Deaton you there?!" I yelled out hoping that he was in his office. Oceanus walked over opening the door and seeing nothing. I sighed, " we're going to have to do this by ourselves, aren't we?" I questioned, Oceanus smiled and nodded. He walked into Deaton's office to grab a few books from his desk, walking back out and placing them on the metal table. " Ok so we know that these two are regular shell casings" my brother said holding up two regular casings. " And this one is the thing we have to figure out" he added on holding the other in his right hand. I had my suspicions about the girl being a hunter considering the fact that we found different casings around the building.

30 minutes in and while my brother was reading through pages to find out what the other bullet was, I was looking at the shotgun shell casings. Running my fingers over the bottom of it I felt something, so I turned it over and seen a mark engraved on it. " Tell me why this Mark looks so familiar?" I asked tapping my brother on the shoulder to see if he knew. He turned and looked to see what I was talking about. " Hold on I think I've seen that in one of Deaton's journals" he replied to me jogging to Deaton's office coming back with a book, it was worn and old it looked like it had papers shoved in there. He set in on the table and was skipping through pages till he found one the explained the marking on the casing. " Here I found it" he said grabbing the shell from my hands and matching it side by side with the drawing. " That's exactly what this is" I said running my fingers over the drawing. It was weird how my brother and I have lived in the supernatural our whole lives and seen many things, but Deaton always seemed to know more.

" Look it's a symbol for the Argent's" Oceanus said reading over the name. " So you're telling me we stopped chasing the alpha, just to try and save an Argent's life!" I said now super pissed, I don't hate the Argents but it's close, they think that they are superior in so many ways but really? Their just a bunch of stuck up assholes. " Yea I guess but that means this wasn't a regular casing" he said holding the other shell in his hand. " Well since she's a hunter, maybe it had to do with wolfsbane. The alpha did come after her" I said pointing to the symbol in the book. " Well read and find out" Oceanus said as he grinned sarcastically, handing me a book, I smiled but flipped him off.

3rd PERSON POV

Two hours later Stiles and Derek arrived at the animal clinic. Stiles received a text from Scott basically asking him to ask Derek if a word had meant something to him. Derek had told Stiles that it's a rare form of wolfsbane and that Scott needed to bring the bullet or he would die without. After shooting a quick text letting Scott know, Stiles grabbed Derek helping him inside the animal clinic.

ARIADNE'S POV

We had found nothing in the books about the bullet and it's symbol. As we closed the books and sighed we heard the door open and Stiles voice rang out through the building. We rushed all the books away but leaving the shell casings out and talking so it didn't look suspicious.

" Where the hell have you two been?! You haven't answered nobody!" Stiles yelled as he struggled to bring a bleeding Derek Hale. " What's happening?" Oceanus said as he went to help Derek get situated. " Ok well he got shot with a wolfsbane bullet and know if Scott doesn't bring the bullet Derek is going to die!" Stiles yelled as he took deep breaths. " Where were you shot?" I asked basically knowing the answer but I needed to be sure. " At the old factory, I was chasing the alpha" Derek said through labored breaths. " So that was your blood on the ground?" Ocean asked beside me crossing his arms. " Wait you guys were there? Is that why you weren't at school today?" Stiles asked basically throwing questions at us left and right. Derek looked at us to as if he wanted to know the answer. " Yea we were there, we've been trying to track the alpha. We went through the woods last night trying to find any clues and then we seen it up close and ran, chasing after it" I said as I shrugged my shoulders letting Stiles and Derek think it wasn't a big deal. In all reality letting them know of a big risk because of Derek. We now know that Derek is going after the alpha which helps us a little bit more.
