ARIADNE'S POV

We all piled into coaches office. " Derek's outside, waiting for Lydia" Scott said as he shut the door. " Waiting to kill her?" Allison asked, she recalled just moments ago when she saw the looks on Erica's face. " If they think she's the Kanima, then yea" Ocean said stating the obvious. " But what if she's immune? I mean it doesn't make sense, Lydia healed like a normal person should, if she became supernatural, she'd heal fast" Aries explained to us, it made sense but if that's the case then who's really the Kanima?

" Can we use that to convince Derek? Or maybe convince him to give us more time?" I asked. We have officially run out of options we're asking Derek for more time. " It's not her, it can't be. I mean Aries can be right, what if she's immune?" Stiles asked, he was desperate to find a way to save the girl he loved. " Stiles, she didn't pass the test man, nothing happened" Scott said, completely ignoring the thought that Lydia might be immune. " It's not her" Stiles stated again.

" It doesn't matter because Derek thinks it's her. So either we convince him he's wrong or we've gotta figure out a way to protect her" Allison sighed, I could tell she was stressed out, I mean in a way she had more on her plate than anybody. " He won't do anything here, not during school" I said, and I was right, he wouldn't risk anything, not with Gerard being here. " What about after school?" Allison said, not seeing a way to do this. " What if we can prove that he's wrong?" Ocean suggested, and Stiles scoffed. " By three o'clock?" Aries asked, not seeing how this could be done also. "Maybe there's something in the bestiary" Allison said, being one of the only optimistic people in the room. " Oh you mean the 900 pages of Archaic Latin that none of us could read!" Stiles said, finding a fault in the plan.

" Well aren't we just all being negative Nancy's today" I said, looking at everybody in the room. " I think I know somebody who might be able to translate it" Allison said, with a look of realization on his face. " I might be able to talk Derek down, have him give us some time" Scott sighed, and I had a small smile. " Ok yes, this is what happens when we're able to figure stuff out, let's go people!" I exclaimed giving everybody a thumbs up.

" If any thing happens you guys let me handle it. Or maybe Aria, Ocean, and Aries" Scott said, directing it to Stiles and Allison. " What does that mean?" She asked, confused. " It means you guys can't heal like we can. I just don't want you getting hurt" Scott said the last part softly, looking at Allison. I felt an arm around my shoulder and looked at Aries to see him have the same expression on his face. Now was not the time for a nice romantic conversation.

Allison didn't take that lightly and pulled out a crossbow, " I can take care of myself" she said, loading it. She dropped it once she saw the look on Scott's face. " What's wrong? Did something else happen?" She asked, I guess Scott didn't tell her everything. " I just don't want you getting hurt. Seriously if something goes wrong, you call me ok? I don't care if your dad finds out! Text, call, scream, and I'll find you as fast as I can" Scott said, and I rolled my eyes. "We have until three" Stiles reminded us.

" Hold on. Scott, I don't know if you forgot about us in the corner over here," I said gesturing to me, Ocean, and Aries, " but we are badass shadow hunters. If something goes wrong we'll be there. Besides all of us can handle Derek and his pack. Especially me, I am the best fighter out of the three of us" I joked on the last part but remand with a serious face. Scott nodded and turned to leave but turned back around fast, catching a small arrow. "Sorry, sensitive trigger" Stiles said, as Allison took the crossbow back. I laughed at the face he made. " Ok let's go find Lydia" Aries said, and clapped his hands together. "Don't forget Jackson" Ocean said, being the first one to leave the room.

We all made it to Scott's house, we watched as Stiles locker the doors and windows, along with closing all the curtains. " There's been a few break-ins recently" Stiles said, then put a chair up against the door, " and a murder, it was bad" he added on and I rolled my eyes. Jackson then dragged Lydia upstairs to Scott's room, "what's that about?" I asked and everybody just shrugged their shoulders. " Ok so let's go over everything we know" Ocean said, as we all stayed by the door looking out the windows. "Ok so it's basically a walking snake" Aries said, going first. " It's killed a hunter and Isaac's dad" I said going next. " It's a teenager" Allison said. " It supposedly only goes after murderers" Stiles said going last. " If it's a shapeshifter like you guys, doesn't that mean they can control it?" Allison asked as she and Stiles looked at the three of us. " Uh not really, sometimes you have no idea of what you're doing" Ocean said, giving a vague answer.
