3rd PERSON POV

Derek had just left Beacon Hills, leaving Cora here. Today was a cloudy kind of day, but it fit the emotions of today as well. Ariadne looked at herself in the mirror and sighed as she smoothed out her black dress. Today was the day they were gonna have the funeral for Boyd and Erica. It wasn't gonna be anything big, just members of the pack and people who knew them. She didn't want to say goodbye because then it meant that it was real. She didn't want it to be, she didn't want to let him go.

" Boyd was the first person that I met when I arrived. Granted I did end up in a vault for three months" Cora laughed sadly, " but I trusted him with my life" she said seriously. " I didn't know Erica, but everybody told me she was a fighter. And I hope that wherever she is, she's kicking ass" she said sincerely.

" Not only we're they pack, but they were my friends" Isaac started off, " We stuck together all the time. We were somewhat of a family, if your family was super dysfunctional" the group laughed, " I'll just really miss them" he walked away, giving somebody else the chance to speak.

One after the other, each pack member said something about them. Some may not have known them as much as the others, but they were all heartfelt speeches. Ariadne wanted to go last just so she could gather her emotions together.

" Boyd. I don't even know where to start with him" she admitted, " He was one of my best friends, somebody that I trusted and confided in. Erica got on my nerves, a lot" the group laughed again, " but she thought she was doing what was best, and I couldn't blame her for that. I don't know where they are, but I hope they're somewhere better than here" she started to tear up, it was just hard for her to let go.

" If I could say one thing to them, it would be that we did it. I would tell Boyd and Erica that the alpha's are gone. I would tell Boyd that Jennifer is gone, that we did it" she looked amongst the group, " most importantly, I would tell Boyd that I did it. That I made it out and I kept pushing for him. I just wish that I could hug him one last time, or make one last pinky promise. I would tell Boyd that he was extraordinary, that he was one of a kind. I would tell Erica that she was fabulous, and brave" a few tears streamed down her face, but she wiped them away quickly.

" Most of all, I would tell them that they were just kids. Because that's what we are, kids. They didn't deserve what happened to them, and I'll make sure that I never forget them" she finished and walked off.

Isaac, Cora, Ariadne, and Oceanus all stood together as they looked at the pictures. " It's just so crazy" Oceanus said, not taking his eyes off the pictures. " It's like one minute they're here, then poof, they're gone" Aria agreed.

" I just still keep think back to Erica. Why would she do that if she knew that she wouldn't stand a chance against Kali?" Isaac wondered, Cora just shrugged. " Well, Erica was brave, she wanted to take a leap of faith. Maybe she thought that if she died, she'd want to go out fighting. Just like how she came in when she first became a werewolf" Ariadne suggested. She really does wish she and Erica could've been friends.

" That was some service" Stiles said as they walked into the twins house. The pack decided they would all go back there. " Yea, it was nice to just grieve, it's a lot easier to do than just push you emotions away" Lydia added. " I just wish Derek could've been there" Cora spoke up, sitting next to Oceanus.

" He needs time. But I think he'll come back eventually" Scott said. He really believed Derek just needed a moment to himself, he dealt with a lot more, probably than anyone.

" Movie night?" Allison suggested, they all agreed. The group figured it was best to just stay in and relax. They brought down blankets and pillows. They had all bought some candy, drinks, and chips. Just anything that they wanted. They had decided to watch a funny movie, they wanted a break from scary, they dealt with it enough.

Even though it was a funeral, this was the most normal night they had since everything with Jennifer and the alpha's.

AUTHORS NOTE 👇🏽

I know we never saw any funerals for the people that died in the show, but I thought it would be nice to include it. I'm not gonna lie, I was seriously debating on wether or not to keep Boyd alive. But I would've just wrote him off, probably have him leave town. Anyways, just like two more chapters than we'll get into season 3B !
