Second Chance at First Line pt.1

3rd Person POV

Scott ran through the halls trying to get to Stiles to tell him what he had found out. As Scott ran through the door he found Stiles getting dressed. " Hey did she give you a second chance?" Stiles asked not seeing that one of his best friends was in despair. " Yeah she did" Scott said shakily, not getting over the fact that the girl that he found an interest in might be a werewolf hunter. " Yeah so that's good right? Let's go" Stiles said getting ready to walk of but he heard Scott say a quiet no. " What do you mean no?" Stiles asked trying to figure out how this was bad news. " Her dads one of them" Scott said trying to give him a hint. It was clear Stiles wasn't catching on because he pressed him to continue. " Her dad shot me, with a crossbow" Scott said still in shock. " Allison's father!" Stiles screamed. " Yes her father!" Scott screamed back trying not to hyperventilate right now. " Oh my god what if the twins are right? What if she's one of them and I'm like the bait or something? Oh my god I'm gonna die!" Scott said freaking out. All his gear was on the floor from where he dropped it. " No, no Scott you can't freak out, not right now at least" Stiles said trying to cheer him up. " So what you're gonna do is focus on lacrosse and worry about the game" Stiles said as he picked up Scott's gear and throwing it in his arms basically. " Ok? Go get out there and be great" Stiles added on as gave him a pat on the chest walking out to the field.

ARIADNE POV

I was on the bleachers with Oceanus I seen Scott and Stiles jogging out to the field, something was wrong. And I could tell because during practice we seen Scott get rammed to the floor by Jackson of all people. " Jackson! Do you always have to be such an ass!" I yelled out to the field knowing that everybody could hear me, Jackson turned and looked at me and flipped me off. I smiled and did the same sitting back down. Coach was laughing and got in Scott's face saying something and that changed Scott's whole mood. I looked at Oceanus and we both stood up ready to go help Scott if needed. Scott crouched down low and ran through the drill again but this time ramming himself into Jackson's shoulder. Everybody ran to Jackson while Stiles, Oceanus and I ran to get Scott. " Guys I can't help it I'm changing!" Scott said trying to breath, Oceanus and Stiles picked Scott up trying to get him into the locker room. The boys set him down while I crouched down in front of Scott. " Hey Scott your fine now just breath" I said trying to sound assertive but I knew I wasn't because in one swift move if Scott got angry enough he could claw out my throat. " Please get back I don't wanna hurt you" Scott said through deep breaths. " Scott you're fine, you're safe in here with us" I said as I tried to put my hands on his but the was until he roared in my face. My brother immediately grabbed my shoulders pulling me up and then we ran. Stiles was in the front trying to lead the way and I was in the back, we were almost out until Scott jumped on top of the lockers and roared at us. We fell back in fear and pushed to the front of the locker room and that's where we seen the the fire extinguisher and while Stiles was struggling to grab it I let the snake bracelet turn into my whip. I whipped it around Scott's neck because he's trying to get to Oceanus and Stiles. He struggled to move forward but I pulled the whip back. " Stiles! How long does it take to grab a fire extinguisher?" Oceanus yelled as he pulled out a blade. Stiles then came back in but looked at us wide eyes as he seen what we had out. He pressed the handle letting what ever was in the can out near Scott to calm him down. After Scott had calmed down I let my whip become a bracelet again. Oceanus put the blade back and we all sat there breathing heavy. " Ariadne what happened?" Scott asked curiously. Well I gotta say when Scott transformed it was hot. I know this isn't the time right now but it's always good for an observation. " Well you wolfed out on Jackson, then we all brought you back here and I guess you couldn't control it and tried to kill all of us" I said sarcastically. " It's like Stiles told you before, it's the anger that causes you pulse to rise and that triggers the wolf" Oceanus said. " It's lacrosse it causes your anger and pulse to rise" Stiles said further explaining. "Well lacrosse is a pretty violent sport, if you hadn't noticed" Scott said trying to make us understand. " Well you can't play in the game, you don't have it under control" Stiles said. Oceanus and I stepped back because we weren't in the game so this wasn't out decision. " But I'm first line" Scott said as he kind of whined. " Yea well not anymore" Stiles said.
