The Overlooked pt.1

3rd PERSON POV

" Look, Derek. I didn't want to believe it either but she grabbed the sheriff, she's the Darach" Ariadne, Oceanus, Scott, and Stiles were all at Derek's loft explaining what happened. Derek shook his head, he didn't want to believe it.

" Derek, I've never lied to you before. Why would I lie now? I know it hurts but she's doing all of this" Ariadne pleaded with him, trying to make him believe.

" I think she's coming. Derek just act natural" Scott grabbed the girls hand and they all rushed behind the wall.

They heard the loft door open, " Derek? Derek where are you?" Jennifer's voice rang out. Scott held Ariadne's hand even tighter, just incase she tried to go after her.

" Right here" Derek replied, the teens could hear Jennifer sigh in relief. " Something happened at the recital. At the school. Okay? I need to tell you what happened before you hear it from anybody else" she explained, " who?" He asked.

" The twins. Scott, and Stiles. They're gonna tell you things. Things that you can't believe. You have to trust me, ok?" Jennifer asked, "what is it?" He wanted to know, " promise you listen to me?" The kids could hear the hope in her voice. It went quiet for a moment before Jennifer spoke again.

" They're already here, aren't they?" Then the teens came out behind the brick wall. " So they told you that it was me, that I'm the one killing people?" Jennifer asked Derek as she looked the teens way, " we told him your the one killing people" Scott replied. Jennifer scoffed.

" Oh, that's right. Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yea I probably do that on my lunch hour, so I can get back to teaching high school English " she tried to play dumb, " where's my dad?" Stiles asked her.

" How should I know? Derek, tell me you don't believe this" she turned towards him. " Bitch please. Don't you think the timings a little perfect? The same day school starts again, birds commit a mass suicide by flying into the walls and windows, in your classroom" Ariadne scoffed. Derek and Jennifer looking her way.

Ariadne also thought how maybe Boyd wouldn't have died if Jennifer hadn't shown up. But deep down she knew that even if she wanted to, she couldn't blame her. Although, she could still blame her for not using her powers to held him.

" Do you know what happened to Stiles father?" Derek turned towards Jennifer, " no" she quickly replied. " Ask her why she tried to kill Lydia" Oceanus spoke up, " Lydia Martin? I don't know anything about that" she played dumb again.

" Oh really? You think it's a total coincidence that Cora was getting ready to show her eyes and fangs to the sheriff and then she suddenly ends up in the hospital? Cora would've made Stiles dad believe the supernatural was real, and he would've made the connection right to you" Ariadne addressed her theory, causing Derek to shoot up his head.

" What do you know?" Derek asked her, " I know that for what ever, misguided reason, are filling your head with an absurd story" she tried to convince Derek. " What if we can prove it?" Scott took a step forward, holding a bottle, " what is that?" Jennifer took a step back, "my boss told me that it can be a poison, and a cure. Which means you can use it, or it can be used against you" Scott unscrewed the lid, "mistletoe" Jennifer realized and Scott the the powder on her. She tried to step away from it but it made her show her true face.

She dropped to the ground, but Derek picked her up by her throat. " What are you?" He demanded, " Stilinski. You'll never find him if he's dead" Jennifer struggles out. " Derek, stop!" Stiles pleaded, even though he wanted to kill Jennifer, finding his dad alive was more important. " Cora's life, it's in my hands. Call Peter, call him!" She demanded, Derek who still had his hand on her throat, used his other hand to grab his phone to call his uncle.

After Derek talked to him, Derek got angry and squeezed her throat even tighter. " Derek, let her go!" Stiles yelled out, Derek turned his head towards the teens pleading eyes. He dropped her, " that's right. You need me, all of you" she said menacingly.

" Did you see how she looked?" Stiles was driving the group in his Jeep, leading the way towards the hospital. " Yea she looked homicidal. I say we kill her and find another way to save Cora and Stiles dad" Ariadne suggests from the back seat. " I don't know, but I do know that we gotta save Cora" Scott agreed with a part of it. " Yea she looked like it was all going to plan" Stiles agreed. " Look, that teacher was killed at the recital. She's got one more group left, guardians. We just gotta watch out for her. Nobody leaves her alone" Oceanus demanded, and Stiles drove faster down the road.

ARIADNE'S POV

We quickly got out of the Jeep, but all of us looked at Stiles weirdly. " What you guys got swords and claws, I got a bat" he defended himself. Derek and Jennifer right behind us.

" Scott. Scott" we heard from behind us, " what are you doing here? The hospital's evacuating" Melissa looked at all of us. " We're here for Cora" Scott replied to Melissa, " all of you? Why does Stiles have my bat?" She asked, and I turned to look at Stiles. Guess it wasn't his bat after all.

" Melissa, just trust us on this. You need to get out of here. Right now" I warned her, she looked at all of us. " There's two ambulances coming. One's 10 minutes out, the other's 20. Cora needs to be on one of those ambulances. They'll be picking up in the basement garage" she informed us.

We all got on the elevator, all of us too frustrated to speak. " You don't have to keep me on a leash, Derek. I'm going to help" she looked at him, but he didn't. " Well, forgive us if we seem a little skeptic. When it comes to trust you haven't exactly had the best track record at the moment", she turned to me, " be glad it's Derek, and not one of the alpha's. Better yet, be glad it's not me holding you, I still suggest we kill you" I shrugged my shoulders. Everybody turned towards me, " what? It's not like i'm the only one thinking it. I'm just the only one saying it" I said innocently as I looked at the back of my hand.

We walked out of the elevator, and watched as the lights flickered, probably from the storm. We walked past Cora's room to see that the room was messed up, and that Cora and Peter were gone. " Derek" Ocenaus caught his attention as we followed the small blood trail that led to the doors in front of us. We heard growling, and suddenly Peter got slid out the doors. " We gotta problem. A big problem" he looked forward and we followed his line of vision to see him looking at Ethan and Aiden joined in one big alpha. Well I guess we're not the only ones who know that Jennifer is the Darach.

Derek roared, going after them, Scott followed soon after. I watched as they fought and noticed that Jennifer was making her way towards the elevator. " Oh hell no" i followed after her.

" I'm surprised you haven't killed me yet" Jennifer broke the silence. I was holding a knife to her throat, there really isn't much room for conversation. " Don't tempt me. It's funny, do you realize how messed up you are by doing that to Derek?" I asked her, but she just stayed quiet. " You are one seriously messed up person. Derek put his trust in you. You watched as Kali and the twins killed Boyd. You could've done something about it. Oh! Not to mention that you also poisoned his younger sister. You sure aren't getting girlfriend of the year" I listed all the things she did.

As the elevator doors opened, we saw Deucalion and Kali. " Oh shit" I muttered as I stepped in between them. Suddenly it felt like a gust of wind came behind me, and knocked Kali and I back. I turned to look behind me, Jennifer had her signature smirk on her face as the door closed.

" Kali, you mind handling that for me?" Deucalion asked her as he faced me. He walked away, leaving the two of us by ourselves. Well this is gonna be interesting.
