Wolf Moon pt.2

Once the sound of my alarm clock went off I hurried up and turned it off. I sat up quickly and pulled the blanket off my legs to see if the scratch was as bad as it was last night. If it wasn't I would just clean it and leave it knowing Stiles would ask to see it, but if it didn't look all that better I'll just use my stele to heal it just enough so it doesn't look suspicious. I looked down to see it scanning over so I went to the bathroom to get it cleaned. When I was done I walked into my brothers room. " Oh my god Ariadne! Don't you ever knock? I could be doing something private!" He yelled trying to be mad. I smiled and sat next to him , " oh please I've walked in in things I should never be seeing" I said laughing. Then it got quiet, " So what happened out in the woods, I could feel something happen to you, what was it?" Oceanus asked trying to figure out if this is supernatural or not. " Ok so basically after you left Scott and I tried walking out then all of the sudden deer caning running at us, but now that I have a moment to process what had happened I think they were scared or terrified. But we got up like nothing happened and we went looking for Scott's inhaler. Well I ended up finding the body-" I got cut off. " You found the body oh that's so great, was it like sliced in half, or-or like mauled" he said getting excited, I gave him the look and he mumbled a small 'sorry'. "Anyway I found the body and I wasn't expecting it so I just screamed and backed into Scott, then we fell down the hill and when he got up we heard this growl. I literally couldn't fight it, I don't know if I was scared or what but it managed to drag Scott and I down it scratched me but bit Scott. Now that I'm thinking about it maybe it was a werewolf. It was big, fast, and hairy. But my scratch didn't go deep enough but Scott's bit did. I don't know if he's a werewolf and if that's true then we have to show our runes to Stiles and Scott, I mean we agreed to keep them out of the supernatural world but if Scott's supernatural" I sighed not wanting to finish that sentence. " then we have to tell them, yea I see the problem" Oceans finished for me. We sat there quiet for a few minutes until I looked at the clock we have about an hour till school. " Get dressed, shower, whatever you gotta do, just hurry up so we can talk about a plan in the car" I said as I left to go get dressed. I shut my door and opened my closet, I wanted to look good but not like I was trying to hard, you know? I grabbed a maroon like long sleeve, a black and grey plaid skirt that's wasn't tight it was loose and stopped mid-thigh, some black tights, and three inch black heels. I walked over to my mirror and applied some mascara and lipgloss, then I let my hair out if it's bun,I shook out my hair and what was left out of it was nice loose waves. I did one last look, grabbed my bag and phone, then walked down stairs. I looked at the clock to still see we had about 35-40 minutes left. I looked on the table to see a note from dad saying that he left on a trip and won't be back for 2 weeks. Well that's great, at Oceanus and I don't have to worry about sneaking in anymore. I sat and waited for Oceanus, and about 5 minutes later he come walking down the stairs. I laughed and he looked at me weird, " I think it's funny how you take some much longer than me to get ready but won't look somewhat decent" I exaggerated to make him smile. " Shut up, also grab something because we don't have time to eat here we'll talk in the car" he said, as he grabbed the car keys I grabbed us two little packaged muffins. As we were walking out of the kitchen I tossed him one and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a small pen like object on the couch. I rolled my eyes and grabbed it off the couch and tossed it at Oceanus, when we got in the got we let it warm up as we ate. " Oceanus you have to keep track of your stele it's literally one of the most important things you can have as a shadow hunter" I said as I stuffed a part of the muffin in my face, he nodded like he understood but I could tell he didn't care because we had more pressing issues at the hand.

Once it was warm enough we were driving to school while we came up with a plan to tell Scott and Stiles what we are. "Ok I think the problem won't be telling them, it's going to be believing and keeping it a secret" Oceanus said as his eyes were fixed on the road. "Yea I agree but I think it's going to be hard because if Scott became supernatural then when we walk up to him he will see the runes and ask Stiles if he sees them to" I said trying to figure out a plan. When we pulled into the school parking lot we sat and tried to figure something out, Oceanus was the first to speak, " what about a glamour?" He questioned hopping it would give us until we can tell him properly. " Yea that could work but I mean how long do we keep it on? Scott doesn't know about the supernatural and he doesn't know he's supernatural so we'll have to wait till the full moon or we can watch today after school to see if he'll turn" I said trying to make sense of a plan. I was contemplating on wether or not we should tell them after school or really wait until the full moon, or maybe till one figured it out. "Ok I have an idea we watch tryouts today, see how he reacts and then we'll decide what to do or how to tell them" I said giving the best option I could think of. Oceanus shook his head like that was a great idea, " Ok yeah that's good, until then, glamour" he said. We then picked up our bags digging into a secret pocket inside and grabbing our steles activating one our runes on either side of our bodies. I guess that was the fun part about runes there like secret tattoos and not only do they give us power but they make us look badass. We turned to each other feeling the runes working. " Ok Ariadne we need to use our eyes to truly see if their gone" Oceanus said. I closed my eyes and counted " 1,2,3 open!" I said in my mind. We both open our eyes to see the beautiful glitter gold that they held I looked over to see if it worked and he did the same, I shook my head letting him know he's good and he did the same. We got out of the car trying not to look suspicious and as we walked to the front of the school were Stiles was getting ready to meet Scott, I mumbled to Oceanus, " glamours take a lot of concentration, you lose focus for even a split second it goes away" he looked my way and shot me a look letting me know he knows, right when we got there Scott and Stiles were talking about his bite. "Alright let's see this thing, by the way hey twins" Stiles said to Scott and us Oceanus and I said "hey" in unison. Scott didn't care but Stiles did. " Ok don't ever do that again it's just freaky" he said looking at us then turning back to Scott. My brother and I looked at one another and smiled, then we looked at Scott seeing him lift up his shirt to show us where the bite was. Stiles went out to touch it but Scott jumped back. " Woah, careful anyway it was to dark to see anything but I'm sure it was a wolf that bit me and scratched Ariadne" he said trying to explain what happened. I nodded my head in agreement to try and back Scott. Stiles snorted and shook his head. " No, no way dude there are no wolves in California" he said, Scott then looked at Stiles like he was stupid, " how are you gonna tell me what we heard, it was a wolf" Scott said trying to sound firm and convincing. Stiles laughed again, " no way dude you couldn't because there haven't been wolves in California ok? Not for like 60 years!" Stiles yelled. Scott nodded calmly and replied, "ok if you're not gonna believe me about the wolf then your not gonna believe when I tell you I found the body" he said. "Uh no way Scott I found the body first but it doesn't even matter" I said throwing my two cents in. Stiles looked happy a little to happy if you know what I mean, " Oh my god this is literally great, this is literally the best thing that's ever happened to this town except-except the birth of Lydia Martin! Hey Lydia! You look like you gonna ignore me" he said as she walked by us and stopped and look at me and smiled, "Ariadne girl I love the skirt, we have to go shopping one day!" She said happily, I smiled and said " girl my skirt has nothing on those shoes, they are to die for!" I exclaimed to her. She smiled and gave me a quick hug and Oceanus and walked away. Stiles just stood there shocked. " How do you do that!?" He said trying to figure it out like a mystery. I laughed and so did Oceanus already knowing what I was gonna say. " It's probably because I don't stalk her and obsess over her since the third grade" Oceanus and I spoke in unison causing Stiles eyes to go wide and shake his head profusely. "What did I tell y'all about that, stop it! Seriously, anyways Scott your the cause of this you know? Dragging me into your nerd depths, I've been scarlet nerded by you" Stiles rambled on as Scott mumbled an " mhm" over and over again. I laughed and wrapped my arms around Scott's waist as he through his arm over my shoulder. I couldn't help but think that it feels right in his arms, always has. As we walked into the hallway before class we were all in a group laughing but in the back of my mind I was focusing on the glamour and mind talking with my brother. When they bell rings Oceanus walks across the hall to a different class then the rest of us but beige he left he said " Ariadne you know that dad left so you know that rule!" He yelled as he tried to make a point, instead of responding I gave him the finger and smiled. I turned around and walked in the middle of Scott and Stiles who looked at me weirdly. " What does he mean by you know the rule" Scott asked as we walked in class, I sat in front of Stiles who sat a couple desks and a row over from Scott. " When my dad leaves town, ever since we were younger we always had this thing that if he leaves and we aren't back by a certain time call or text or maybe even find a way to signal the other, now it's like a rule, not enforced but it's something we must do if we stay out late" I said explaining it. " Aw that's cute like a twin signal, I wish" Stiles said and I snorted turning around because class had begun.
