Insatiable pt.2

3rd PERSON POV

Ethan was carrying Aiden but the wolfsbane was becoming too much. Derek and Cora pushed Ethan out the way as Derek grabbed Aiden. Cora helping Ethan. "Run" Derek said and they made it in just enough time to dodge the bullets. "We gotta hide them!" Cora shouted over the bullets. "When we're far enough we make a run for it back to the car! We get them to the loft and you go find the twins!" Derek yelled. He was talking about Aria and Oceanus. Cora had been worried and had been dying to help them.

ARIADNE'S POV

"Shut up and let me go first!" I whisper shouted at them as I moved them to go into the window first. When I was in I looked around. I heard a thud and turned to see the boys on the floor. "Really? You wanna start screaming while you're at it?" I questioned as I pulled them off the floor.

Her room was neat and organized, bed made and papers from school laid out on her desk. "I got a couple messages from the pack. Allison found Lydia's car, it had a message from her handwriting telling us to not find her. Isaac texted that they found Meredith. Scott and Stiles are heading to the school to get her out. And Cora wants to know where we are" Aries said.

"Ok, wow we really miss a lot" Oceanus commented. "Tell Cora to meet us back at Scott's house. The guys and Kira will most likely be there as well. And tell Allison we should all meet at Scott's house no later than 5. We don't have time to waste" I said as we looked around.

"So what do we look for? I don't know about you guys, but we're in her bedroom, everything feels personal in here" Aries said as she shoved his phone in his pocket. "That's the tricky part. Everything is personal in here because it hers. We need something that had meaning, an emotional value" Oceanus explained.

It had been at least a few minutes when Aries stopped us. "Do you hear that?" He whispered. We listened and heard footsteps approaching the door. Our eyes widened slightly as Oceanus hands trembled with the stele in his hand. "Hurry up!" I whispered as he traced over his rune and tossed it to me, I quickly did the same and tossed it back to Aries.

We all scrambled to a side of the room as Natalie walked in with Lydia's basket of clean clothes. "I don't remember our parents doing this for us" Aries whispered but I shushed him. Natalie's head perked up and looked around. She then went back to folding and putting them away.

After she left we made ourselves visible again. "You should've just let her know we were here" I said as I started looking again. "I'm sorry. But I'm just saying, these people parents put their clothes away for them. We never had that" I didn't answer as my eyes found a jewelry box. If nothing has emotional value in here, then I don't know what to do.

I looked through the box and a necklace caught my eye. I smirked as I held it up to the boys. "Isn't that..." Oceanus trailed off while pointing at it. "The key that Lydia gave back Jackson when she helped us with the Kanima? Why yes, yes it is" I answered. "Man, I thought Jackson took that back" Aries said as I put the necklace in my pocket.

"I did too. But this is the perfect thing that we need. This has so much emotional value to Lydia" I said. "Ok, we gotta go find a place to do this, and now" Oceanus said as he climbed out the window.

"Y'all are going to be the death of me" I muttered as I was the last to leave the room. "Ok, so where are we going?" Aries asked as I drove down the road. "It's not like we can pull over and draw runes on our hands and let others see" he added. "We need somewhere not far from Scott's but somewhere secluded where nobody will see" I said. "Our house" Oceanus spoke up, making me look over at him.

"I'm serious. It's our place, nobody just barges in. And, it's a five minute drive to Scott's" I looked in the mirror to look at Aries. "Ok, let's go home" I said as I sped down the road. We were running out of time.

3rd PERSON POV

"Focus, concentrate" Oceanus instructed as the passed around the stele. "Connection with each other, let your mind and memory flow. What ever we do, don't get stuck on a memory or think about somebody else" Oceanus continued as they connected hands, the key held within their hands.

They all took a deep breath as they felt it working. Memories of Lydia and Jackson together, smiling and laughing flowed through their minds. Even bad memories of them arguing flowed. Then, flashes of an old building, walls with pipes surrounding the place. Lydia being in a small space with the nogitsune, in a cage.

The key dropped as their hands dropped. Deep breaths and fits of coughing were the only thing heard in the house. "The internment camp..." Ariadne said but couldn't finish as she coughed. "It's at Oak Creek. Thats where Lydia is" Aries finished as Ariadne grabbed the car keys again as they rushed to the house. "After we tell Scott, we've gotta come back here and grab a few things. We can't just go there with our blades. We'll need extras just incase" Oceanus said.

Once they arrived, the three barged into Scott's house. "Where's Scott?" Ariadne said as they three came face-to-face with Raphael McCall. "Why aren't you guys in school?" He didn't answer their question. "Mental health day. Where's Scott?" Oceanus repeated. McCall could see the urgency in their eyes, he gestured upstairs as they rushed passed him, practically running.

"Scott, hey. We fou-" Ariadne couldn't finish as the boys didn't stop themselves in time and pushed her into Isaac. "Sorry" she mumbled as Isaac grabbed her to steady her. "We know where Lydia is. Oak Creek. The internment camp" Ariadne turned back to Scott. "We've gotta get the others here, or we can go back to our place since your dad is here" Aries added. A throat being cleared made the group turn their heads. "Hey, Meredith. How you doin'?" Oceanus asked awkwardly with a slight wave of is hand.

"We'll see you back at the house" Ariadne whispered, giving Scott a quick kiss on the cheek and left. As they walked down the stairs, Kira and Cora came in. "Hey, we gotta go, get in the car" they all quickly turned around and left.

It was now 7:30 as the sun began to set. It was almost time. "Look, somebody needs to go in and get Lydia. Who's doing it?" The pack argued amongst each other about who after they were informed about Kira's mom. They knew there was going to be a fight.

"I'll go... seeing as I can't fight like you guys can" Stiles was always going to go get Lydia. "I'll go with Stiles" Scott sighed, he didn't want to miss the fight, but he felt like it was his fault that Lydia got taken. "I'll go too. You'll need the backup" Ariadne was surprised that Oceanus volunteered. As well as Cora.

"We've gotta hurry, we have to get there before Kira's mom" Allison said as she grabbed her bow and a few arrows. "Ok, Allison, Cora, and Kira. You guys will be in one car. We'll be in one car. Then, Scott, Stiles, and Isaac. Let's do this and do it fast. So that we can all come home tonight" realization set in amongst the group at Aries words. This wasn't just a fight against a nogitsune, this was one against demonic ninjas that could kick ass, and a woman with a demon to bury.

"We'll all come home, ok? Lace up your shoes, make sure your swords, claws, and fangs are sharpened because this tonight won't end without a fight" Ariadne clapped her hands one last time as they all got into their assigned cars. Worry and nervousness was all in the back of their minds.
