3rd PERSON POV

Ariadne was driving as fast as she could while trying to get to the loft before it got to dark. "What did Noshiko say to you?" Scott asked from beside her. Ariadne knee the question was bound to come up, she just didn't expect it to be in front of Isaac and Kira. " Nothing major. She was just trying to warn me" she shrugged it off. Aria could feel Scott's eyes burning into the side of her head.

If she was being honest, she wasn't lying. Noshiko did give her a warning, just not what the others are thinking. To avoid any more questions, she sped down the road faster.

By the time the four got to the loft, they had seen either somebody helping one another up or they were helping with healing. " What happened?" Isaac asked. " They're gone. They literally disappeared" Allison spoke up first. "And so did Stiles" the sheriff said quietly.

Ariadne glanced around the room, trying to get a sense of what happened. She walked down the steps and walked towards the big window. Even though the oni were starting to piss her off, they were also the best bet at finding a lead on Stiles.

While on the other side of town, Noshiko decided to pay a visit to Eichen House. What she didn't expect was to also find Stiles down in the basement. She had originally gone down there to hide her last tail. Void Stiles knew that and grabbed it, stabbing himself in the stomach. Noshiko was angry and scared because she didn't know why he did that. Flies had come out of her stomach and when they all disappeared, Stiles was gone as well.

A fly had found its way into the hospital and was going for it's first target. Aries still hadn't fully recovered but he was getting there. The fly managed to find it's way into his skin. Making his eyes glow as he gasped.

Scott, Ariadne, Kira, and Isaac all headed back to Scott's. Scott and Ariadne in his room, Kira and Isaac in Isaac's room. " Thanks for letting me stay, I just didn't want to go home yet. I feel like, I don't even know them anymore" Kira admitted quietly to herself but she knew Isaac could hear her. " I can loan you a shirt, if you want?" He offered, but she shook her head lightly.

" You can take the bed, I'll take the chair" Isaac instructed. Kira kicked off her shoes and laid in bed. " Isaac," Kira spoke up, " please don't sleep in the chair" she said with a soft voice. "It's ok. I'll be fine right here" he shut his eyes again. " Please don't sleep in the chair" she repeated. Isaac agreed as Kira moved to the other side. " We're going to save him. We'll figure it out" she promised him as they faced each other. Isaac took the initiative and leaned in, Kira following. They're lips met in a slow, passionate kiss.

Isaac was the first one to pull away, seeing as he didn't want to freak her out. She smiled and turned her back to him so that they could cuddle.

ARIADNE'S POV

Scott and I were sitting on his bed. " Do you really think we can't save Stiles" Scott asked me as I watched him play with my fingers. "Honestly? I don't know. But I think we should try" I brought his head up. " Scott, we need to have faith. Everything works out in the end, it always does. Besides, I'll die before I let anything happen to him" I made myself a little promise. As long as I'm alive, Stiles was going to be protected by me. Especially if we found a way to save him. Scott just nodded and pulled me in for a long kiss. He turned out the lights as we got under the covers. Both of us hoping that tomorrow will be better.

3rd PERSON POV

Scott didn't like the thought of her dying. Or at least the promise of her dying to save somebody. He understood it's what they do, lay down their lives for the world just so it can be a better place. But the though of the girl he loved, his first love, dying would literally break his heart into a million pieces. If that happened, he might move on, but no girl would ever compare to Ariadne Lightwood.

Chris and Allison has stepped off the elevator. It had been a long day and both of them needed to sleep. But Allison couldn't get one thing off her mind. " Dad. Were you really going to pull the trigger on Stiles?" She asked nervously. " To be honest, I'm not sure" he opened the door and let Allison in first.

" I checked the firing pin" she turned to Chris as she took the bag from his hands. " You removed it?" He asked surprised. She nodded her head sheepishly. " Hmm. That's why the women in our family are the leaders. Get some sleep" he smiled to himself and thought about how she really had grown.

Allison has walked into her room and was surprised to see Aries sitting right on her bed. "What're you doing here?" She asked quietly as she sat down next to him and took his hand. " I though I'd come and see you" he shrugged his shoulders.

" They didn't just let you walk out of the hospital, did they?" She asked. " It's ok. I feel a lot better. All healed" he promised. Allison has a slight smoked on her face as she placed her hand upon his cheek, " giving you the alarm code was a bad idea" she chuckled to herself.

" Wait, have you let Aria or Oceanus know you're awake?" She realized. " Let's not worry about that" he leaned in to kiss her. She instantly responded, she didn't think anything of it, she was just happy to have him back.

Derek, Cora, and Oceanus were all gathered around the table setting up chess pieces. Cora and Oceanus were going to go to sleep but Derek instructed that she stay at the loft.

" What are you guys doing? And more importantly, why aren't you healing?" Peter came waltzing in. " It's from one of their swords. It'll heal" Derek shrugged it off. " By playing chess?" Peter asked sarcastically.

" Back in his room, Stiles had a board with my name on one of the pieces. If this is a game to him, then I need to figure out the plays" Derek gave in and told the reason. " Not so easy to do when it's a game without rules" Peter responded cryptically.

" what does that mean?" Cora asked with edge in her tone. " You guys are dealing with a spirit that's lived to long to play by human rules. It's a fox spirit that chose to become human. And supposedly, that's something that they can only do after 100 years. If a kitsune is a pain in the ass, then a nogitsune, which is a dark kitsune, is a freaking disaster. Besides chess is Stiles' game. Not the game of a Japanese fox" Peter shrugged on his jacket and left.

" Yes, thank you Peter! For your annoyingly cryptic messages! Dick" Oceanus called out to him, making the other Hales in the room turn and raise an eyebrow. " What? Don't look at me like that. I still don't trust him. How did he even manage to not get marked by the oni?" He made a good point, none of which any of them could answer.

It was the next day, nobody had found Stiles and they were all on a little edge. Ethan and Danny had just gotten back from playing lacrosse at school. " I gotta say, you definitely did well out there. You'll definitely make the team next spring. I mean, if you want to" Danny congratulated him as they had entered the locker room.

" I want to" Ethan replied less enthusiastic than Danny. It was nice to think that he could have a place here, but what came with that was taking the responsibility for his brother. "Everything ok?" Danny asked.

" I mean... I kinda don't know if this is the place for me. For us" Ethan turned and splashed water on his face, not knowing that one of void Stiles flies was in the water.

" I mean, is this you leaving school again? Is it about your brother?" Danny asked sadly. The fly had just gotten into Ethans head. " Yea. It is actually. It's always about my brother, isn't it?" Ethan replied in a monotone voice. " You all right?" Danny notice the change in tone.

" I think I'm just gonna take a shower" Ethan took off his shirt and tossed it aside. " Ok" Danny went back to putting his stuff away. "So are you" Ethan stopped and turned to Danny. Danny smiled and took off his shirt, following Ethan into the showers.
