The Girl Who Knew Too Much pt.2

ARIADNE'S POV

I was at home when I got a call from Aries. "Dude where the hell have you been? I've been trying to call you for like the past two hours!" I put my phone on speaker and set it on the dresser. " I've been with Allison. We think we found the next category, Philosophers" I got even more confused. " In what context?" I slid the new shirt over my head, " police officers, we think. Oceanus told me that him and Cora are gonna talk to the sheriff, and make him believe" he said into the phone. " Ok, I gotta go, I'll text you guys if I find out anything new" I hung up the phone. I changed my pants and put my shoes back on. I guess I'm heading back to school.

" Hey, what's going on?" I jogged over towards Scott and Lydia. " Another was taken" Lydia said, " it was a teacher" Scott finished, and I nodded. " Hey, Stiles, was Tara ever a teacher?" I asked over the phone, " Yea, actually, she was why?" He answered and asked, " because a teacher was taken, and philosopher doesn't mean law enforcement, it means teacher. I'll call you later" I hung up the phone and shot a quick text to Aries.

" Ok so Tara was a teacher before a police officer. So if the patters a teacher, how do we know which one?" I asked walking back over. "I don't know which one, but it's a place to start" he said, " the recital" I realized. " Lydia, are you alright?" I placed a hand on the girls shoulder. " Yea, I just, I knew he was missing. How did I know that?" And that was the one question nobody could figure out. " I'm gonna head home. I'll text you guys" she walked away, and I sighed, she doesn't even know what she is, and neither do we.

" Are we sure this is a good idea? I mean it feels a little easy" I said as I turned to Scott who looked confused, " I mean think about it. If the Darach can commit sacrifices and do all of these things without being here, how do we know that the teacher will be sacrificed here?" We watched as the students who stayed after were setting up. " We don't know. But I think this is the best place to be when and if it happens. Besides it's not like the teachers throat will be magically slashed out of thin air" Scott sort of made a joke and I shot him a look, " not the time" I nodded.

I felt phone vibrate, Oceanus was calling. "Hey, what's up?" I asked, taking a step away. "Cora's in the hospital" he rushed out, " what?" I questioned, " Yea, it was like she healed from the weight and then just when we were about to show the sheriff what we were, she passed out" he explained. " Almost like it was planned" I mumbled to myself, " what?" He asked, " nothing. Do you want me to come get you and Stiles?" I asked. " No just stay there, we'll probably get closer to figuring out who the Darach is" and be hung up the phone.

" So, Cora is in the hospital. Ocean said him and Stiles will meet us here" I walked over, and Scott nodded. There was still some awkward tension after the outburst I had about Boyd.

" I'm sorry" I blurted out, causing Scott to face me, " I'm didn't mean to explode on you, I was upset. I mean I still am but I shouldn't have taken it out on you. It's like ever since that night after the Motel I haven't been right. I think his death just pushed me a little closer to the edge" I said that last part to myself but everything was true. " It's ok. I didn't know him like you and Cora did, I know he didn't deserve to die. None of these people do. It's ok to get a little lost, as long as you find your way back" he said softly and I took his hand, " I think I found somebody that brings me back" I kissed his hand, and watched as he smiled. He pulled me into a hug.

We watched as more people gathered in the building for the recital, I saw the twins sitting together talking quietly and then came in Lydia. " Hey, I thought you were going home?" Scott and I walked up to her, she shook her head, " I can't. I don't know why I am the one who keeps finding the bodies, but maybe, if I stop trying to fight it, I'd fine them before it happens. Maybe with enough time for some one like you two to do something about out" she explained and I took her hand. " Lydia, you give me time and I swear to god we'll do something about it" I promised her.

As the concert started we heard the door open to see Argent, Allison, Aries, and Isaac. Stiles and Oceanus followed a few minutes after.

" Hey, how's Cora?" I whispered to Ocean, " I don't know. It's like she healed in the outside but not the inside. The doctors can't even figure it out. Derek's up there with her" he explained, and I was surprised Derek came back early. " They can't figure it out because it's supernatural. I think somebody did something to Cora" I whispered my theory, " somebody like who? The Darach?" He asked and I nodded.

" Guys, where's Lydia?" Stiles pulled us out of our conversation. We turned to see she wasn't there anymore, we rushed out of the building calling her name several times. " She's not answering my texts. What do we do?" Stiles pulled out his phone, " Scott? What do we do?" He asked again.

Suddenly Scott covered his ears and I felt the vibration echoing. " Did you guys feel that too?" I asked them, Oceanus nodded, " I heard it" Scott replied. " Heard and felt what?" Stiles asked. " Lydia" I realized and tried to remember the direction it came in and chased after it.

When we found her, Stiles dad was on the ground with a knife in his shoulder. Surprisingly thrown by Ms.Blake. Scott roared as Oceanus and I took out our blades, showing the sheriff that we were supernatural. Scott charged first, jumping over a desk. She dodged all his attacks and she sent him flying into the wall. I guess we were up next.

This time she came at us first, trying to use her powers but Oceanus and I rushed to grab her hands. She head butted me, causing me to stumble and sent us both of us flying into the pile of desks, right beside Scott.

Sheriff grabbed the gun and pointed it at her as she got closer. " There was a girl. Years ago, we found her in the woods, her face and body slashed apart. That was you wasn't it?" He asked, " maybe I should've started with philosophers, with knowledge and strategy" she advanced closer to him but he shot her. She stopped and looked down at her leg, and we watched as it healed herself.

" Healers" she picked up the sheriff with the knife, " warriors" she grabbed his badge and ripped it off, " guardians" she crushed it and dropped it, " virgins" she kissed him. She showed him her true face, which meant she was going to take him.

I pulled a dagger out of my shoe and threw it into her shoulder, I was so close to the heart. Suddenly the glass broke and she disappeared.

Stiles came rushing in, " dad!" He called out. Scott, Oceanus, and I appeared behind him.

" I'm sorry, I tried" I put a hand on his shoulder. But now we gotta warn Derek.

If she took the sheriff than she's definitely on the last category, guardians.

We've gotta tell Derek.
