The Dark moon pt.2

3rd PERSON POV

Scott was able to finally open his eyes, and he wasn't complaining about the sight in front of him. Ariadne leaned over him with worried eyes, but took a breath of relief and announced he was awake. His small smile dropped as she left his vision and Isaac helped him up.

"Scott, you ok?" Stiles asked as they all looked at him. "Yea, what about you guys?" Scott nodded his head in the direction of the shadow hunters. "We're fine. Remember?" Aries held up the stele. "They don't have him. They don't have Derek" Scott back to the topic at hand. "We know. But right now, they've got Lydia and Allison" Kira stated. Scott looked at Stiles. "Lydia and Allison? What would they want with them?" He asked.

"No clue" Ethan said from beside Ariadne. Scott huffed and walked over to the door. "We already looked for a way out" Cora said as she lifted her head off of Oceanus's shoulder. "I think a lot of people have" Isaac added. "I say, when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it" Malia stated bluntly. "What about Lydia and Allison?" Oceanus asked. "What about them?" Malia replied.

"We aren't leaving without her" Aiden spoke up from beside Aria. Everybody, but Malia, knew that Aiden still had some lingering feelings for Lydia. Lingering, was an underestimate from Ariadne. But she loved how Aiden and Malia both pushed each other's buttons. "And Allison" Cora added, making sure the huntress was included.

"We're not leaving without them" Ariadne decided to stop the conversation before it would give her a headache. "Why not?" Malia asked, causing Ariadne to put a hand over her mouth to keep the group from seeing a smile grow on her lips. "Because we don't leave with out people. Remember, we talked about this? Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends" Stiles brought himself into the conversation.

"Is that what you would do as a coyote? Leave them for dead?" Kira asked. "If they were weak and injured, yea. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat them. Then I'd leave" Malia replied in such a serious tone that it made Isaac and Ariadne burst into laughter. "Believe it or not, that's progress" Stiles said over the sound.

"Wow, I love her" Ariadne said as tears formed in her eyes with how hard she was laughing. But when she felt a tap to her shoulder, she was the looks she got from Aiden and Scott. "Um, but we can't leave without them" she repeated as she straightened herself up.

"All right, guys, we're not dead yet. That means Araya wants something" Scott got the group back on track. "But, if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that mean that they didn't take him from the loft. Right?" Ethan asked. "Maybe he left on his own" Stiles suggested. But Cora disagreed. "He wouldn't leave for this long and not tell me. Something happened" Cora said. "Maybe somebody else got to him first" Aiden said.

"And Araya wants to see what we know" Oceanus realized. Everybody but his sister looked at him confused. "Araya wants us alive, that means she wants something. It may not be what we want, but, it's something we can help her with. Even if it's something simple as information. We have what she wants" he explained. "So, if we give her what she wants, then what happens? Does she kill us?" Isaac asked. "No. She'll let us go" Ariadne answered. "How can you be so sure?" Kira asked nervously.

"The Calaveras treat the code like law, they enforce it. We're on her territory, there are people in the pack who haven't killed. And, Araya wouldn't risk a war with Argent if she hurt Allison. Plus, she wouldn't want to deal with the clave" only 5 people in the room, besides Ariadne, knew who the clave was, but the others weren't going to question it. "All right" Aiden broke the tension with a clap of his hands, "I don't want to wait around. What do we do?" He asked.
