Ice Pick pt.2

ARIADNE'S POV

We all arrived at the ice skating rink. I smiled grabbing my brother and Aries hands dragging them inside. I was excited, we haven't done this since we were kids. We grabbed a pair of skates and hit the ice. " Aries, are you still having trouble skating after all this time?" Ocean joked. He scoffed, " please that was years ago, I think I've gotten better" he said and tried skating but more so wobbled. " I'm gonna take that as you haven't gotten better" I said grabbing his hand a skated slowly so he could get the hang of it.

After a bunch of failed attempts at skating and a bunch of laughs, Aries finally got the hand of it. " See all you need was a little practice" Ocean said, dusting the imaginary snow off his shoulders. I smiled and pulled my phone out, I wanted a group picture of us, well an older one. We crowded in the frame and we took different ones, we had funny faces, serious faces, and just plain smiles. When we went to look at them, we heard Lydia scream. We skated over and saw that she was hysterically crying while looking at the ice, Stiles was trying to comfort her. What the he'll was going on with Lydia Martin?

3rd PERSON POV

Scott was putting his things away when Erica slammed his locker shut. " I know two isn't enough for Derek so who's the third?" He asked, he wanted to keep as many people from getting hurt. " Why does there have to be a third when we have you?" Erica asked taking a step closer to Scott.

Down the hallway Allison and Ariadne were watching the conversation go down. " Do you think he'll go to Derek?" Allison asked the girl. " No, Scott isn't stupid, he'll try and stay out of the action as best he can. He knows being in Derek's pack could kill him" Ariadne said to Allison as she watched Erica and Scott look their way. " C'mon Allison let's go to lunch, even though I can't sit with you" Ariadne said, grabbing Allison's hand and leading her towards the cafeteria.

After the girls sat down a few minutes later Scott came and sat down right beside Ariadne, who was behind Allison. " She came on to me" Scott said, he didn't want the girl to be upset, but he didn't know which one. " I'm not jealous. She's with Derek now right? Scott, Aria can't you see what's happening here? It's like my grandfather coming here and Derek building his pack, it's like battle lines are being drawn. There's always crossfire" Allison said, even she could tell a war was coming and her friends were dead smack in the middle of it. " So what do you want us to do? We can't pretend like we're normal and just sit back and watch all this happen" Ariadne said, she felt like this was her fault, so she's gonna try and fix her mess. " I don't want you guys to be normal, I want you to be alive. All of you" and that was the last thing Allison said before walking away.

Right on time Stiles comes up to the group. "Hey do you see that table?" Stiles asked, pointing to a few table down. " Yea it's just an empty table" Ariadne said, not really seeing how this was a matter of importance. " Yea but who's empty table?" Stiles pressed even more. "Boyd" Scott said

"He's the third. Stiles go by his place. Aria and I will go to his work" Scott said grabbing Ariadne's hand and leading her out the cafeteria. Stiles sighed and that caused all of them to stop. " Maybe we should let him. You said Derek was giving them a choice. You gotta admit Erica looks pretty good, you know the words sensational comes to mind" he pointed out, he figured he should let the Derek handle this by himself. " Really? How do you think she's gonna look with a wolfsbane bullet in her head?" Scott questioned the boy quietly, not wanting to attract attention. " Stiles you know we're right, this is gonna get out of control, making us responsible" Ariadne said, anybody who truthfully who knew what was going on and watched it happened was also responsible also. " All right I'm with you, and I gotta say this new found heroism is making me very attracted to you guys" Stiles pointed out, earning smiles from both teenagers. " I'm serious, either one of you wanna try making out for a second!" Stiles yelled down the hallway at them as they speed walked away.

ARIADNE'S POV

We haven't heard anything back from Stiles so we figured we come and check out his work. We found Boyd smoothing over the ice. " Boyd! We just wanna talk!" I yelled over the loud noise. " C'mon Boyd please?" Scott asked, trying to get him to listen. " Did Derek tell you everything? And we don't mean just going out of control on the full moon, I mean everything!" I yelled out to him, I guess it got through to him because he turned off the machine. " I just don't wanna eat lunch alone everyday" Boyd said, with sadness in his tone. "Boyd, sweetie, if you want that you can do a lot better than Derek" I said, trying to convince him that turning wasn't the answer he needed. " That hurts Ariadne, Scott. If your gonna do a full review on me, ask some others first" Derek said, catching the attention of all of us. I seen Erica and Isaac. But my eyes couldn't leave Isaac's, so instead of trying to talk to me, he goes and decides to be Derek's lap dog?

" Erica, how's life been since we met?" Derek asked, pointing to her. She looked like she was thinking but I knew something stupid was gonna come out her mouth. " In a word? Transformative" she said as she roared and bared her fangs.

Derek then pointed toward Isaac. " Well I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive, but other than that, I'm great" Isaac said, as I rolled my eyes. " Hold on this isn't exactly fair fight" Scott said, pointing out the obvious.

" Then go home Ariadne, Scott" Derek said a little cocky. Then he moved his head toward his betas. Scott dropped to the ground and punched the ice. His claws coming out. " He meant for them" I said as I felt my eyes glow as I watched Isaac head for Scott and Erica came at me. She tried to swing but I dived hitting her in the stomach. She quickly recovered and tried to hit me in the face, I ducked and swept my foot under her leg, knocking her to the ground. I hit her in the face a few times and slid her over to Derek. I was breathing heavily. " He doesn't care about you! He's just using you to become more powerful!" I yelled at the two newly turned betas. Derek stepped forward and I took a step closer to Scott, drawing a blade. "You're right, it is about power" Derek said, twisting his head and roared, showing his bright red eyes and fangs. I stepped first swinging my blade and it cut Derek on the arm. He roared in my face and caught my wrist, he then scratched me across my torso and threw me to the side. I watched as he slashed Scott. Derek punching him repeatedly, with one final blow knocking him to the ground.

" Don't, you don't wanna be like them" Scott said, trying to get Boyd to change his mind. Boyd shook his head, " I don't, I wanna be like you guys" he said lifting up his shirt and showing us the bite mark. He walked away towards Derek, while I helped Scott stand. Isaac then came over, " not here for a fight but I just wanted to let you know, with everything going on and us being on opposite sides. Whatever this is, is done" he told me and walked away. I watched him walk away and I was hurt, that's how easy it was for him to walk away? Scott sensed my sadness and grabbed my hand for moral support. " Let's go to Deaton" he said slightly tugging on my hand, leading me out the building.

Yes I decided to end Isaac and Aria. That's not how I wanted it to go, but it makes for a better story line. Anyways I'm really glad we're in season 2 now, especially because I'm gonna be adding a lot of shadow hunter scenes for the twins and Aries. I'm excited!!!!
